“What can I say. I am impressed with Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop. I live out of town currently and I ordered a pie for delivery online and I messed up not only the delivery time but forgot to add a note for the recipient. Completely my mistake. I called the store and Katie answered the phone, actually she answered every time I called (3 total LOL) I received a happy greeting and Katie was delighted to help me correct my mistake. She made me feel like a friend, not just a customer, and I truly appreciated all the help! Definitely recommend. Thank You Katie!“

“I've been trying to stop in since the grand opening. The stars aligned today, finally, and I was able to check the bakery out. I decided on a Tomato Basil scone, a brown butter chocolate chip cookie, and, thanks to Heather helping me narrow it down, a loaf of asiago & pepper. The scone did not last the 5 minute drive home. The cookie was warmed in the microwave for maybe 10 seconds and then devoured. These will be the things I crave when the bakery is closed! Just phenomenal! NOW....a little different review. Heather is the SWEETEST human ever. She let this adult-conversation starved SAHM just ramble on about nothing and everything. And, you know how you can just tell when someone is humoring you (for the business) and will immediately call their significant other to tell them about the super weird lady who wouldn't shut up and looked like death warmed over? That is not Heather! Such a sweet human and I wish her nothing but success for many, many years!!“

“The Williams cook and bake with love, and you can taste it in everything they make! It’s a little out of the way for many, but their delicious, homemade fare and kind, caring service always makes it worth the effort to go eat there.“

“Crumbl Cookies never disappoints! I tried the milk chocolate chip cookie, and it was absolutely perfect—super soft and gooey but not raw in the middle. Plus, the size of the cookie was impressive! “Strawberry shortcake was excellent. Customer service not so great as workers were gossiping as I walked in, was not greeted and essentially waited for them to be done to get my order. Two of the workers were actually working while a third girl was standing doing nothing and talking to the other workers. I was also the only customer in the store at the time. Overall great cake not so great service.“

“For several years I have purchased cheesecakes from the bakery for my youngest daughter’s birthday. She loves the taste of the Old Fashioned original cheesecake. The storefront is a no frills no nonsense setting. This is because the bakery is a commercial operation. They supply their tasty treats to numerous restaurants in the San Antonio and Austin area, but they make time to serve the private customer as well. Just understand that they are a commercial operation. But believe me when I say the tasty treats are worth the trip over into the business park where they are located.“

“It's a nice place, but if I drop into a neighborhood (or any) coffee shop on a Sat a.m. I expect a Sat a.m. "coffee atmosphere" - quiet, laid-back. Suddenly in comes a bunch of pre-teens, cackling and shouting. Too many parents make the mistake of assuming that we all want to see and hear their kids: teach them to recognize and respect quiet. Otherwise, as I said, a nice and convenient spot with a good selection for coffee and low-dB conversation.“

“Yes, I would recommend them, but they lost me as a customer on Monday. A couple of weeks ago, I was having a baker's crisis. I had a particular order for a cake, and I could not remember where my cake pans were because our shop typically specializes in cupcakes, so I went to an over-the-top cake shop to get some cake pans. Before I purchased them, I asked the young lady if I could return them because I might not need them if I found mine. She said yes, so I went ahead with the purchase. Luckily, I was able to find my pans. So, on Monday, I went back to the over-the-top cake shop to try to return them. Before looking inside the bag, the lady behind the counter told me loudly, "Oh no, we will not take any returns." I honestly thought she was joking with me at first. LOL, but it turns out she was not. She proceeded to show me the receipt that clearly stated all sales are final. I apologized and told her. Unfortunately, I did not look at the receipt because I asked and took the young lady at her word. She asked me for the young lady's name, and I said I did not get her name because I did not assume she would give me the wrong information. I said, okay, I understand, and shame on me for not getting the details. But is there a way I can get a store credit since I buy most of my supplies there? Without hesitation, she said we won't do that either. I struggled with that because these were unused cake pans, and the labels remained intact. They have cake pans on shelves that they could have quickly restocked. I struggled because I bet many small businesses or self-employed bakers purchase our supplies there, and most of us do not have the luxury of spending money unnecessarily. At this point, it is not about the pans but the principle. Again, I understand their position if the items had been opened or used. Today, most reputable businesses have a return policy and not a Gotcha practice. So, I will return to ordering my supplies from Amazon, which is much more convenient for me. I would like to support local businesses if possible. But not when that support is not reciprocated. So buyers, beware!“

“I'm a truck driver and I got there the afternoon before my 9am pickup the next day. Art volunteered to load me that day even though it meant staying late. He also caught after he loaded me the order would put me overweight so he took off a pallet without complaint. Great guy and service.“

“Used them for a teacher luncheon and they delivered to our school. The elevator was broken and the two ladies carried trays and huge coolers up 2 high flights of stairs at least 7 times up and down. I get exhausted going up once. They had the most pleasant attitude.The food was delicious and the presentation of the trays and warmers was perfect! “The barbacoa is not shredded.It is lumpy like the actual cheeks and you'll have to shred yourself.The flour tortillas are partially cooked.The pork tamales are hand made and taste like they are using a pig head according to cartilage and fat content. Very authentic.The 3 young men are very happy to be there and help you.I'm 60 y.o. and I can not tell you the memories I have of waking into a Molino this place brings back to me.I've not had their pan dulce but, the rest is VERY delicious and worth the wait.We went here 8 weeks ago because we made the long trek to ger Rubens Tamales and they were closed, again.Try this place it will not disappoint.“

“For our Anniversary in 2022, my wife and I decided we wanted to get a cake to celebrate. We both like old-fashioned butter-creme icing, and not that new light, marshmallow-ish stuff that bakeries put on cakes today. We wanted a layer-cake with thick butter-creme filling, as well as icing on the outside. Emily's Cakes came through for us. The cake we got was more than expected and was absolutely delicious! We're planning to order another one this year, if we haven't waited too late. We need it by Sunday of next week 7/14/24. Is that even possible?“

“They did custom cookies for my wedding that were a huge hit! Thank you so much for helping me add a personal touch to our big day. The guests ate them all before I could get a good picture which is always a good sign. They were cute and delicious.“

Little did I know I would find all of that with Little Muse. They provided the most delicious food from start to finish. The setup and and attention to detail was amazing. Their warm and calm demeanor was a blessing at the event. Everyone loved the food. I could not have asked for better. Thank you so much Little Muse and I would love to hire you again one day!“

“I just wanted to say that Yesterday around dinner time both me and my husband went in to La madeleine for dinner and it was truly so amazing. Reading some of the comments i was a little hesitant but still wanted to try it!! The two young ladies that were working there were super helpful when it come to explaining how the ordering and where we could sit worked and they were just super friendly. I didn’t catch their names but i wish i did. One of the girls had Dark red/brown hair and the other girl had brown hair with bits of highlights. Our food took a bit to come out but i could tell they were busy so no rush Haha! but other than that our food was super yummy. The manager Gloria was there being super helpful as well. She was cleaning tables and helping the girls when it got busy. I’m glad to see that this store has managers who truly do care. I would definitely recommend this place 10/10 experience🤗🤗“

“Those small cakes that are mentioned above were delicious... But when I miss the most was a dark chocolate cake with the light chocolate Frosty I got one of those for my birthday every year I believe they also had a coconut one. I also miss going to the buttercrest bakery on Broadway Street when I was a little girl we went there every year got our pencil or ruler and our toast buttered bread. Those were the best memories.“
