The setting is Texas country style. It appears to have been a house with a a fireplace. It is right off 281 North and sits back far enough hidden behind beautiful Oak trees. There is plenty of seating inside and a nice size deck. They serve breakfast and lunch and prices are great.“

My husband and I went there this morning to have breakfast. I was so full and satisfied that I completely forgot about my handbag hanging on my chair! I left my handbag with my wallet inside the whole day and didn't realize it until it was time to go pick up my daughter from school. I panicked because all my important documents and credit cards are in my wallet. In addition, I also have my rosary in there which is of sentimental value to me. I called the restaurant hoping that someone might have found it and turned it in to the manager on duty. The employee who answered the phone helped looked for it but she couldn't find my bag. When I came home from picking up my daughter, there was a car parked outside my house. It turned out that an employee checked my purse for my address and personally delivered it to my home! Instead of going straight home, Mia took a detour and went above and beyond her duty to return my handbag to me safely. What a kind, thoughtful and honest person! Bravo La Madeleine for hiring such an employee.“
