Black Walnut Cafe offers a welcoming atmosphere and delicious food. The breakfast "enchiladas" are a hit, and dinner options like Mediterranean Chicken, Chicken Parm, and tacos are very good and reasonably priced. The restaurant provides excellent table service, despite ordering at the front. Cocktails are unique and tasty, with popular mimosas and great lattes in flavors like vanilla, caramel, and classic, all priced at $4 for a 16oz. Parking is easy with plenty of close spaces. The setup is different, with some self-service and some waiter service, and overall service has improved, with food brought to the table and buzzers removed. The menu also features items like queso dip, which is highly recommended for its cheese mixture and sausage, served with crunchy chips, and a Cobb salad with flavorful dressing and pickled onions. The environment is well lit, friendly staff are quick to serve, and the food often disappears fast. The place is especially appreciated for gluten-friendly options such as Cookies and Cream cake and customizable meals. Overall, Black Walnut Cafe is a great spot to dine with good food and attentive service.
