“Still not a fan of Kentucky Fried Chicken anymore especially this location after many many different problems pricing slow service so I haven't been there in a long time. Kentucky Fried Chicken needs to trim down their menu and specialized back in what they used to do good original recipe and extra crispy chicken and the old QSC 103 service where if you didn't get your food in about 5 minutes you were getting bad marks“

“I recently visited Golden Chick, and I have to say, I was really impressed! From the moment I walked in, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. They greeted me with smiles and made sure my experience was smooth and enjoyable. It’s rare to find such genuine customer service these days, and it definitely made a difference.

The environment was spotless—tables were clean, floors were well-maintained, and even the condiment station was tidy. You can tell they take pride in keeping the place in top shape, which I really appreciated. It made dining there a lot more comfortable knowing everything was so well cared for.

On top of that, the food was fresh and delicious. Whether you’re grabbing some crispy chicken or their famous rolls, you know you’re getting quality. Overall, Golden Chick is a great spot for good food, friendly faces, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Today I stopped in for lunch and it was VERY busy. There was a lady up at the front, who I could tell was struggling with some of the orders.
I noticed 3 things:
1. She had amazing customer service with a contagious smile.
2. English was not her first language, and I'm pretty sure hernative language is French.
3. Her coworkers were VERY rude to her.
For those who have never had to work in second language, please understand that she has to translate EVERYTHING in her head before she is able to do the orders that are being thrown at her, while also being constantly told she is "messing up", or "ruining orders".
The ONLY reason I am giving a 5 star review(which you could use, considering you have a 3 star review average), is because I saw this girl trying her absolute best, and giving amazing customer service with a smile on her face, while being degraded right infront of me.
Do better by her, and others Slim Chickens team.
Maybe do some Empathy training.“

I have been in the Killeen area since 2001...employees come and go, but this particular store, I haven't had any issues

Side note: The kitchen area is ALWAYS clean, like ready for an inspection...thumbs up to the staff!!“
