“Run, don’t walk, to Motor City Pizza. We ended up here by accident last weekend, after the restaurant we were going to was unexpectedly closed. This was the next closest non chain pizza place we could find so we decided to give it a try and we were SO glad we did. We sat at the bar. The bartender (I think his name was Brad) was friendly and personable and made some fabulous menu suggestions. We started with the potato chip chicken strips. They were fantastic. The seasoning in the batter was spot on, and they were piping hot and perfectly crispy. I ordered the Maurice salad, something I had never heard of. It was a very busy salad, lots of different flavors going on, but I am here to tell you it was one of the best salads I have ever had in my life. I am already trying to figure out when I can go back and order it again. Hubs got pizza, half Texas sweet heat and half mobster. Definitely one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had, you could tell they use top notch ingredients. It’s rare we have such a great experience entirely “by accident”. We can’t wait to go back! Maybe next time I’ll remember to get pictures :)“

“This is by far my favorite pizza ever! We found them accidentally as we were looking for food delivery late night and they were one of the few open and we are SO happy we found Zalat! Communication was clear and timely, and he was very accommodating when we needed to make adjustments to meet a variety of dietary requirements. Delivery was right on time, and Jay even helped set everything up so everything looked great and was ready to go. Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. We received so many compliments from our guests, and everything was a big hit. We’re very grateful for their professionalism and the care they put into making our event run smoothly. “Recently I had a surprise birthday party for my wife Mary. Owners Mike his wife Ruby son Bes and daughter-in-law Red made the occasion truly a night to remember! They have a beautiful private room in the back of the restaurant and all the food that was prepared was excellent! The Service was first rate. They were very accommodating in letting my friends and Family decorate for the party. The bartender is a fine young man named Steven who is so respectful and helpful, a true asset to the establishment! My wife and I dine at Genti's often and have tried many different dishes and never disappointed! From the moment we walked in the door to a very packed restaurant to the moment we left we were acknowledged & taken care of. “Grimaldi's got its start in Brooklyn before spreading out around the country, including a handful of branches around Dallas. We recently dined at their this place at The Shops in Highland Village. This branch offers a large indoor seating area as well as a bar and is open from 11am until 10 or 11pm daily. They have a fairly typical menu of starter salads along with their signature thin-crust, coal-fired brick over pizzas which we found to be generally good during on the evening. Shared a couple of different varieties with custom topping choices, one of the pizzas crust was perfect, the other fairly soggy but overall it tasted good. Salad served up with our meal was similarly decent, nothing amazing nor bad - just decent salad. We thought the large pizzas made for good family-friendly and casual meal out with friends.“
