Jack’s Tavern is home base for my dart team in Denton, and it’s a great place for league nights or just hanging out. They’ve got free darts, free pool tables, cornhole, video games, and plenty of other ways to stay entertained. The drinks might be a little pricier, but the food is good, and they mix things up with karaoke nights and live bands that make the atmosphere even better.
What I like most is that Jack’s feels like more than just a bar—it’s a spot where teams, friends, and families can all feel welcome. If you’re in college and want to bring your parents out for a night, this is definitely one of the better choices compared to other bars in town. All around, it’s a fun, friendly place with something for everyone.“

“This is a great laid-back bar. Some nights have more diversity than others, but I like it. DJ could be improved. Tempo needs to be pretty consistent no matter genre. Music would go from upbeat hip hop to slow country back to upbeat pop and down again.

“This place is great for games - darts, pool, pinball, etc. The drink service is great, and they have better than average bar food. The only complaint it the flashing led light they have all over the placencan get annoying and give you a headache.“

“Had a fun time with friends at LP! Great food! Husband especially liked the awesome beer selection and his delicious burger! We received great service with Sibley who was a joyful delight and so sweet! We will definitely go again!“

“Food and drinks were a great deal. Tasty chicken quesadillas with fresh peco and sour cream $9.99. Long-island was good and plenty of alcohol to feel them. Great place for a quick drink and or lunch. Have only visited the 1 time. But will go back for sure.“

“I stopped in this place a few weeks ago. It wasn't too packed, and I hung out at the bar for a while, watching some guys play pool. The crowd seemed to leave about 10:30 and it was pretty empty at that point. The bartender that night was Jadis, who was amazing and very good about answering questions about the leagues and pool tournaments held there. I ordered the pork chop, which was the best meal I had on my short trip as well. If you're in the area, stop by for the pork chop, and ask for Jadis!“

“They cheat thier customers by not honoring the half price half pound of wings if you order and pay on line. Manager does not appreciate long time customers refused. Customers beware of unscrupulous businesses and a manager that says i only work here.

“Came here after my workout with a few guys from our group and everyone super friendly, food was great“
“I posted a negative review originally… However, Ryan the owner reached out to me personally to try and accommodate and assess the reasons for my review. Ryan went as far as to have a private discussion which I won’t go into, in person! If that doesn’t show the management and staff cares I don’t know what does. I gladly and appreciatively took down my negative review and am overwhelmingly happy with the overall experience we simply hit a rough patch and Ryan did his part to help the customer and fix the problems. I’ve gone to the garage for a long time and plan on continuing to visit and be a regular. Thank you Ryan and thank you the garage for being a good place to come and chill out in. I can happily say I recommend this to anyone that wants to escape the monotonous clubs for some chill vibes, pool, and good drinks.“
