“I have to give a shoutout to Saigon's Civet because I honestly think they have the best coffee in town. I drink my coffee black, so there's nothing to hide behind. If the coffee isn't good, I know it immediately. So many places have drip coffee or even espresso that ends up tasting sour to me. I've ordered Americanos at other coffee shops that had that same sour bite, and it's just not my thing. But this coffee? Rich. Bold. Smooth. Exactly how I want coffee to taste. I make a pretty great pot of coffee at home, so I'm picky, but every cup I've had here has been excellent. They roast their own beans, and you can smell it the moment you walk in. It's one of those places that immediately feels warm and inviting. The space itself is beautiful too. It's cozy without feeling cluttered, clean without feeling sterile, and has a really upscale, welcoming atmosphere. They also serve breakfast and lunch, so it's an easy recommendation whether you're grabbing a coffee, meeting a friend, or looking for a good meal. If you haven't been yet, it's absolutely worth checking out.“

“my absolute favorite coffee place! my only complaint is that there is only one location and i wish it was in a more convenient space, closer to places i go to when i come into corpus to run errands OR a location in portland! but i do try to go when i can because the coffee is so worth it! ive only been here a few times and ive never had a bad ice coffee. ive ordered the iced cinnamon spiced latte and the iced salty bear and they are DELICIOUS! pleassssse come to portland!“

“Best of the best! Where they go, I follow! From her personalized roast to her original ideas of monthly specials including her hand crafted baked goods, why would you need to go anywhere else?! She and her family have put in every detail possible oh wait I forgot to mention you can also order cans to go which is amazing for a coffee addict like myself and when she’s closed I don’t suffer because I have my Wednesdays waiting at home! 100/10 Kari is just an amazing person who also donates back to her community schools, breast cancer awareness and more. Again best local coffee hands down, just go find out yourself!“
