“We were working in town and we found this little hidden gem. We didn’t eat here for breakfastonce or twice but THREE times because it was very good. They do a dark roast style coffee and it’s super rich and their combinations are not overly sweet. We tried several drinks and they were so good each time. The Vietnamese coffee was by far our ultimate favorite. Breakfast we tried the breakfast sandwich with pesto and added micro greens and it was really fresh tasting and flavorful. Overall they really choose quality over quantity and I would 100% recommend stopping in if you are in the area.“

“I have to give a shoutout to Saigon's Civet because I honestly think they have the best coffee in town. I drink my coffee black, so there's nothing to hide behind. If the coffee isn't good, I know it immediately. So many places have drip coffee or even espresso that ends up tasting sour to me. I've ordered Americanos at other coffee shops that had that same sour bite, and it's just not my thing. But this coffee? Rich. Bold. Smooth. Exactly how I want coffee to taste. I make a pretty great pot of coffee at home, so I'm picky, but every cup I've had here has been excellent. They roast their own beans, and you can smell it the moment you walk in. It's one of those places that immediately feels warm and inviting. The space itself is beautiful too. It's cozy without feeling cluttered, clean without feeling sterile, and has a really upscale, welcoming atmosphere. They also serve breakfast and lunch, so it's an easy recommendation whether you're grabbing a coffee, meeting a friend, or looking for a good meal. If you haven't been yet, it's absolutely worth checking out.“

“Leona is pretty freaking awesome. Not only is the coffee badass, and I never would have expected mixing Americana with orange juice to be a good thing, but what really sets this place aside as the service. The wife and I are ending a week-long vacation, getting some caffeine to head back home, stopped here and the wife realized we had just a few snaps left with the Polaroid camera. Turns out one of the baristas leona, is a journalism major and took the last group photo that we were looking for, on this gigantic borat style king of Castle thrown chair in the front entrance way. Check this place out it's worth the look.“

“My Family has been coming here for a long time. Today, we were told no more Birthday cake mini muffins due to a bad review on somewhere.... because one of the sprinkles got on someone's sandwich and they cried foul and said it was mold. NEVER have I ever seen even day old bagels available for sale... im sad because our kiddos love the birthday cake muffins, its the only ones they eat ALL of. we are always pleased with our sandwiches and we love the staff, and we are regulars. yes at times its busy, and no its not a sit down and get served kinda place. yes the regular coffee is regular and pretty good, but the lattes are even better so of course they cost a little more and were okay with that. I highly reccomend this establishment, we never wait more than 5 min for a fresh made hot breakfast sammy, and if we call it in, its always waiting for us and perfect. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE remember that you cannot please everyone. if someone gives you a bad review, just take it in stride, try to accomodate a better experience next time, and do not punish all us.... ehem... “I recently visited Black Sheep Bistro on the Island, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation. After hearing so many great things about both the food and service, I was excited to try it for myself—and I was not disappointed.

I started with the bruschetta, which was fresh and delicious. The highlight of the meal, however, was the Lt. Dan. It was cooked to perfection, and the flavors came together beautifully.

The staff and owner Glenn were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the entire experience. I also had the opportunity to meet the lead cook, Mark, and it was clear that he genuinely cares about the quality and presentation of every dish that leaves the kitchen.
