“I live about five minutes from this place. I stumbled upon it on a Google search. I ordered some breakfast tacos here, and the lady who took my order was incredibly helpful and friendly. The CHICHARRON egg taco was absolutely delicious! The price was reasonable, and the quality of the tacos was top notch. I highly recommend this small local business. I’ll definitely be back soon to try more of their menu items.”

“We are normal customers and love getting our Saturday ribs . Today we went For their steak night and it was beyond amazing. My husband and I shared a beautiful 2.4 lbs ribeye cooked to absolute perfection! We paired it with the best onion rings and miso glazed carrots . One of the owners also got us a burger , when I say it was the best one I have ever had it is not an exaggeration. It was the most juicy & tender burger ever . To end our night we got the cheddar cheesecake with apple butter which was a perfect combo of a savory sweet treat. We will definitely be back again and we highly recommend trying it out .”

“For our 101st 'cue stop in Texas, we stopped by this food truck on a Saturday morning. It was not at all busy, in sharp contrast to several of the other outlets in the court. We laid out $43.40 to purchase 2 biscuits with brisket and smoked strawberry jam. We added hash browns to each order ( 2 wedges per order). Although the biscuit was quite dry, the brisket was well prepared, and the smoked strawberry jam a real treat. But no plastic utensils were supplied, so we ended up scooping the jam up with our fingers. Bring your own utensils with you if you choose to visit! We're glad we came, but the price point struck us as very, very high for what we received-- too high for our wallets to absorb a second time.”

“Just tried Song La for the first time today. Shirley was so incredibly friendly and the food was fantastic. I spent 3 months in Taiwan before moving to Austin and was craving some Taiwanese fried chicken and this hit the spot. Plus, everything is made to order and comes out super fresh (that said, don't come in a rush, make sure you've got a little time to enjoy their new spot at The Thicket and hang for a bit). Whether you've had Taiwanese food before and are craving it or just want to try some incredible fried chicken in a cool South Austin spot, definitely give them a try. ❤”

The carne asada was great, the pastor tacos with the fresh pineapple lived up to having pastor in the name, and the quesabirria tacos had us wishing we got more. But what blew our mind, maybe because we weren’t expecting it, were the hot dogs. Topped with your choice of meat, they stole the show.”

“Their dosas are great and they have coconut chutney which not all places offer . The tandoori chicken is a fan favorite too. We have gotten their malai koftas, lamb tikka masala, daals, biryani and gulab jamun to name a few items! We love to get catering from them too for larger parties! It’s a big hit amongst a diverse cultural group! They really pack it up nicely and you can specify your spice level! Don’t specify for the tandoori chicken spice level just ask for the standard or medium? Great Indian food for south Austin!”

“Nice outdoor seating spot. It's a food trailer not a food truck. They have seating outdoors with umbrellas. The food was on point and delicious. The cucumber like fresh water was delicious. Overall this place hit the spot. Street parking is a bit tricky.”
