“Good afternoon! My name is Kelly, and I am a GM manager at Chick-fil-A. I wanted to give a special shout-out to a young lady at the front of Layne’s named Lilly.

I ordered my food, and within less than five minutes, she brought it out to me hot and fresh. She asked if I needed anything else, and when I told her I was okay, she continued helping other customers with the same positive attitude.

Lilly was incredibly fast, organized, and friendly. She called customers’ names with a smile, kept the dining area clean, wiped down tables after people left, and made sure everything was well stocked.

I came to this Layne’s location about a week ago, but Lilly was not working that day. Unfortunately, the service I received during that visit was not very good. This afternoon, however, my experience was completely different. Lilly truly made my visit one of the best experiences I have ever had at Layne’s.

I even tried to give her a $20 tip to show my appreciation, but she kindly refused and told me to keep it because she was just doing her job to make customers happy, comfortable, and able to enjoy their meals. That really stood out to me.

Lilly is one of the nicest and hardest-working people I have met. She deserves to be recognized for the excellent service she provides. I would love to know her schedule so I can come back when she is working and bring more people with me.

“Today my family and I chose Bojangles for lunch. My youngest is 18 months old and has recently started tantrums. While we waited for our order, he started screaming and crying. I went to the counter and asked if we could have our food to-go instead because we didn't want to bother other customers in the restaurant. Momma T and Kiki both quickly brought out a little cup of whipped cream for my kids and, "no, you deserve to sit down and have a good lunch." My wife almost started crying. They spent our entire visit coming back to check on us and our kids to make sure that we were all happy and comfortable. While the food here is delicious, the service and kindness from the employees is even better. I've never wanted to stay or come back into a restaurant simply because the employees were so nice.
