“Went last night (6-17-2026) when we arrived we were the only ones in the place, we ordered beer (they are $4 on wednesday). Then the fun began, they were doing a cooking with Casper (chef) that we were not involved in, I asked Casper about the blueberry mouse, I do not like mashed fruit, Casper brought us some and then a whole plate of different desserts. We ordered our food, I got the brussel sprouts, my friend got the fig flat bread, both were delicious. We were then treated to scones and biscuits they made in the cooking class. “Recently I had a surprise birthday party for my wife Mary. Owners Mike his wife Ruby son Bes and daughter-in-law Red made the occasion truly a night to remember! They have a beautiful private room in the back of the restaurant and all the food that was prepared was excellent! The Service was first rate. They were very accommodating in letting my friends and Family decorate for the party. The bartender is a fine young man named Steven who is so respectful and helpful, a true asset to the establishment! My wife and I dine at Genti's often and have tried many different dishes and never disappointed! This is a true gem in the area and would highly recommend whether having a wonderful Dinner in the restaurant, having a party or ordering take out. You will truly enjoy!!“

“Love the atmosphere, love the food, love the service. Salsa Tex is just a fast paced local Tex Mex Restaurant but the food is very good. The margaritas are excellent as well. There are waits to get a table after 6:00 but typically less than 20-30 minutes.“

I was immediately impressed with the generous portions of food that was being served. The fajitas were amazing and so was everything else that was being served. The rice was perfect and it truly complimented the fajitas and beans. The carne asada was super delicious and very tender. Zero fatty grizzle on it and seasoned to perfection. The sour cream enchiladas were some of the best I’ve ever eaten. They always say that the salsa and chips is the beginning of a positive dining experience, and the attentive servers that are making your visit unforgettable.
Well this restaurant gets a 10 out of 10 because of their level of service from their associates. Everyone was kind, cheerful, polite and professional. It always starts with leadership and it shows immediately. Arturo, GM/Owner was taking the time to walk the floor and visit with each table. That’s a sign of someone who takes pride in their work and cares enough to interact with their customers. These are the places that make you come back again.

“My family and I enjoy this location, more since they moved as there is much more parking though getting out on Swisher and heading west can be a bear during traffic times. They should install a light here as there is a lot of Chick traffic and the apartment complex.

The crew is very friendly and responsive to the guests food is properly cooked and always fresh.

“If I could give 10, I would. The manager went over and beyond to make sure everyone in the restaurant was served and happy. Smile on his face the entire time, creating a happy environment for the clients and a pleasant work environment for the staff. He was short a cashier/waitress but you couldn't tell. He even went as far to offer a free dessert for the minimal time we waited for my son's smoothie. Food was great, and the service was even better.“

“Beautiful displays. Excellent friendly cashier. I like soft music that is playing, but it is a little loud at times. We had regular coffee. We asked for and got ceramic mugs. There are 4 coffees at the coffee bar to choose from. I first tried a small amount of the dark roast. I was concerned from past experience that it wouldn't be hot. It was not hot, but lukewarm at best. My husband got a cup of hazelnut flavored coffee. It was hotter and had some steam coming off of it. I got the hazelnut flavor which was OK for being hot. I added skim milk. There is a microwave for use below the coffees. There's no outdoor seating here. I can see an open closet through an employee only doorway, and this is sloppy looking. The cold drink bar should be kept pristine, and it isn't.“
