“First thing you need to know is CASH rules. Credit & debit not accepted. Second thing, get there about 11AM FRIDAY & SATURDAY. This might just be a one man operation but he KNOWS what he’s doing. He has an interesting history you can read about as your DELICIOUS food is being plated. I definitely recommend buying enough for seconds because not only was the Brisket & Sausage bangin but the potato salad was awesome & the beans were the best I’ve ever had. His ribs even without sauce are mouth watering. He also sells by the LB. Get here early if you have any ideas of buying by the LB for sure. Wish I was in the area longer cuz Tilly’s BBQ is worthy of a drive from Victoria for sure but staying in Cuero, he’s the PitMaster I’d go to.“

“Had the absolute best birthday party there! We had more people come to celebrate than expected and staff was so kind to help us set up a bunch of tables so we could all sit together. The food came out quick, hot and delicious as usual even with the big party. The kids that attended played with the available games there and were given coloring books and a whole big basket of crayons. Everything was fantastic and to top it off, I was given a gift certificate for a return visit by them as a birthday gift! Could not have asked for a better place in Cuero!“
