“One of the good beer stores in Cypress - sometimes the service leaves much to be desired - on the first two occasions I went in - there were two gentleman working and both were welcoming, but I made the mistake of going in on a Monday afternoon after work and the female bartender looked at me like I walked into her personal living room lmao - I could feel her eyes asking me to leave - fortunately I'm always on my way out - I buy my selections and go home. Their selection is nice: only a few eclectic breweries: I would like to seen more ale selections from Fair Isle, Maine Beer, Jester King, and Ommegang - if high-end variety is your mode of operating - go to Central Market or Downtown Specs, alas this is the one of the only options in Cypress, so pay them a visit. Maybe your welcome will be warmer than mine lol“
“Dear friends at The Barn,Wow! What a wedding!! Words cannot express how appreciative my husband and I are of how you made such a huge difference and impact on our son’s wedding. We all have jobs, but you guys seemed to care about our son and making the event a success and took everything above and beyond. The low key, laid back sweet son of ours finally found a girl that is kind to him and loves him for who he is, and we were so happy that they got married.I had so many comments from people on how it turned out. My sister in law sent me a text that said “Everything looked beautiful, and the whole day was PERFECT! It was the most fun we’ve ever had at a wedding. It was classy and beautiful, but still relaxed and casual. The kids had a blast. The food was amazing and the music was “chef’s kiss”. It was a perfect day”. What an awesome description of a Barn wedding! Classy and beautiful, but still relaxed and casual. I think that is a huge compliment to the venue and your staff.When my son told me that he wanted to get married there, I wasn’t sure if that was a good idea because I knew that it was not a wedding venue. But he had his mind set, and the facility is just so beautiful, and I have all the faith in the world in Travis. I love that we were able to have it there, after celebrating so many other memorable moments at The Barn (My husband’s “Little Chad” birthday during COVID, my outgoing HLSR Chairman party, etc). It was really special!You guys are so kind and organized, and I’m truly grateful that we were able to work with you through this process. They loved the extra fun pictures you had them take by the tractor, and it was just icing on the cake to have everyone at Frio Grill give them a standing ovation! How fun! Our son is so thankful of how it all turned out and after all his hard work, I’m happy that it was so amazing. “It was extremely expensive for what was offered. Which was quite disappointing. I don’t drink alcohol and a soda cost me five dollars. It was really loud for the daytime and people were kind of obnoxious. There was a large group seated not far from us that was screaming and yelling Watching a game which is fine but it was like 2 o’clock in the afternoon and combined with the music being loud we just gave up and left. Also it’s right in front of a police substation so if you plan on drinking you better have a designated driver with you or call an Uber.Parking: There’s more parking than you could ever need. It’s huge you’re fine. You might have a problem finding your car afterwards because the parking lot gets packed. So remember where you parked.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly at all my 14-year-old son wanted to come up and play some pool during the daytime with his mom and dad and they told us no it is very strictly 21 and up even if the minor is with his parents.Wheelchair accessibility: I did see a wheelchair ramp as well as tables and side bars being the right height for wheelchair access“
