Had a rare opportunity for my son and I to have a guys night out. Hit up longstanding local fave Alfonso's.
Started off with a mighty fine Old Fashioned. We both had the minestrone for starters. Charlie said his Chicken Piccata was "REALLY good". And our server, Lupita, was spot on with her recommendation of the Seafood Special - crab and shrimp with penne, in a white wine sauce with garlic, tomatoes and chives. It's a winner if I'd order it again, and I would.

Best Detroit style pizza I had in DFW tons of toppings… reasonable price!
This was my neighborhood growing up and I’m 39 now. My best memory is mowing a yard and making enough to go in and get a bag of garlic knots bc that’s all I could afford being 10. This place holds a good core memory in my heart and glad to see that are still thriving.
