Had my brother and SNL in town. I'm trying to understand how this place even exists. The hotel is Old and smells like sewage inside and out. Started out @ the Waterproof. Completely overrated nothing special about this place besides its overpriced drinks. However my reason for this post is for Bourbon & Banter. We ordered the Smoked bourbon Meatballs. What an amazingly customer oriented experience! The live music is enthralling, David the bartender can make you anything you wish with a smile! It's truly above and beyond what he can do here even with the troubles the building is currently experiencing. Wow . I've never had a better drink anywhere. 10/10

Bourbon & Banter delivers a fantastic speakeasy atmosphere right from the start. Finding the entrance downstairs inside The Statler and dialing the secret code in the retro phone booth to get through the hidden door sets such a fun tone for the night.
