Cafe Brazil - Deep Ellum Reviews
Went on Sunday about noon and the entry was dirty and dining room floors were dirty. Did not get served for about 15 minutes and server did not make eye contact or smile. took our order and we waited for about an hour. They weren't busy and we could see our order sit in the service window for about 30 minutes. When received French toast was cold. They redid the order, we got it to go and left. VERY SAD!
they saved my night after a horrible experience at Hawkers. I loved the banana bread french toast and chicken strips. It was kind of a weird setup: you pay first and they don't have wait staff anymore. but everybody was very friendly. There was a minor issue but the manager took care of it and I was happy. Great place
I really enjoyed my sólo brunch at this spot!! Just stumbled on it!! Glad i did!! Their twist on chicken & waffles!! I highly recommend

Cafe Brazil in Deep Ellum is a cozy restaurant with a Brazilian vibe, celebrated for its delicious banana bread French toast and light, fluffy pancakes. The staff is friendly and compassionate, fostering a fun and welcoming atmosphere where you feel at home. The coffee is a highlight, with a self-serve coffee bar offering cappuccinos, lattes, and more, including five different coffee bean roasts to try and a sweet caramel macchiato. Customers enjoy a variety of dishes with huge, good size portions for a reasonable price, including breakfast bowls, pancakes, veggie tacos, and savory crepes. The food is delicious and everything was fantastic, though a bit greasy. The potatoes had a lovely flavor. The service is very kind, super quick, and relatively fast. The ambiance isn't fancy but is more diner like, and the music adds to the experience. Parking is available through QR code or text payment.
