“My partner & I are in town for the holidays from Salt Lake City & were told about Time Out Tavern. Everything that was mentioned by the Uber driver was on point. The atmosphere was chill AF, there's a male bartender with braids who gave exceptional customer service not to mention the door guy was down to earth with a lot of knowledge & that bearded. WOOF! With that said there was a female bartender who could use A LOT of coaching conversations by management as her rudeness was never asked for & customer service lacked. I still give this bar five stars & will recommend it to others.“

“Great out of the way dive bar. Lors of "REGULARS" every day. Out door seating ,and live bands definitely a plus. Cold beer,mix drinks are like you want them-strong-. “I loved it here. There is so much room. There are three parts to this bar. The inside is decorated so cute. Couches for lounging. Pool tables too. Drinks are very affordable. Outside stage where band plays. There is plenty of seating outside. Definitely will return.“

Bring your own liquor bottle as they only serve beer and set ups. Need about 1 or 2 more restrooms. Front patio. Clientele is more of the blue collar type of people. Not to bad of a place. Hardly ever any drama there since the crowd is mostly 35 and up.“

“Greatest happy hour in Dallas (goes until 9)! Servers are personable and drinks are always made well! I personally order a tall vodka soda with tang every time (basically a non-acidic screwdriver) and love trying all of their seasonal frozen drinks. Their hot drinks in the winter are always great as well!

“This is one of my favorite dive bars in the city. Great draft selection, billiards, and a good food menu. The crowd is composed of many regulars who gather for karaoke, sports games, or just a ritualistic pint. The patio is a god send during the summers.

Parking: Easy to find parking - if Dallasite is full, there are a few abandoned lots in the area.“

Not a Beyond Burger but rather a great homemade brown rice-quinoa-chickpea concoction with avocado and sriracha on a whole wheat bun. Delicious and fast friendly service. “Barbara’s Pavillion seems to be one of the only decent dive bars left anywhere in Dallas. The drinks are cheap, the vibes are good, the staff is friendly, the music is great. The fact that it’s a gay bar makes it even better. Barbara’s has barely changed in the sixteen years I’ve lived in Oak Cliff. I hope it never does.“
