Food is consistently good, enchilada sauces, like verde sauce, or mole sauce are all really good. Staff is very attentive, back in the back of a shopping center, but worth it to go find it. A little more expensive than others, but every single restaurant is the same way. Prices are up everywhere on
First time to visit Don Pepes in its new location on Arapaho at Hillcrest Village Green Park (west of Hillcrest). Parking is best in the back, north lot for the park. Loved the large covered patio which looks out to the park and playground. Inside dining looked nice as well, but it was too nice an evening to sit inside. We began with an order of jalapeno rellenos (4 extra large jalapenos stuffed with chicken and lightly fried). Great flavor, but much hotter than I anticipated....read full review

We attended to celebrate my son's birthday and we had very good service....the dish I ordered (molcajete) chicken and beef and shrimp fajitas...nopal...very delicious!Good atmosphere...the place is nice and they are not pressuring you to finish and leave...the detail of *(happy birthday...singing for the workers of the very nice place...) thank you very much!
