Came in for a late breakfast and decided on the avocado toast with 2 fried eggs and a biscuit with gravy. I also wanted to try one of their specialty juices with the turmeric but was informed that their juicer wasn't working that day. All my food came quickly, was delicious, and portions were great. The eggs were perfectly cooked and the avocado was fresh and easy to spread on the whole wheat bread. Relaxed, East Dallas cafe, child and animal friendly patio. Good drinks and the Parmesan Bella mushroom strips are the best share, or entree. Excellent servers. They want you to enjoy yourself and no matter how slammed the weekends are at DC, the servers are collected, profesional and attentive. Menu could use some new items, sort of limited on entree options for vegans; the square meal with black beans and brown rice, meh . Good Friday made grrrreat at Dream cafe! Been awhile since I'd been, came for a business meeting, stayed for the stupendous breakfast ? I did the spinach mushroom omelet which was huge and packed with veggies. Cheesy grits were my side- don't know if I can ever do anything else: rich, creamy and cheesy, full o Flav! But the popovers?? I could make a meal out of those with the strawberry ? butter So much breakfast had to bring it home - one of the best values in Dallas!
