Needed a late night snack on a Saturday, but didn’t want to sit down anywhere or eat anything heavy. We found Elotes Gonzalez right on Davis near us. They are open until 11pm during the week and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. The service was great and the elotes were even better. They had a few different types to choose from, including conchinadas and ones of different sizes. They also sell nachos and snow cones. I have been to so many elote spots around Dallas. I’ve been to the popular ones, to the hole in the wall ones, to the ones you see outside supermarkets. And let me just say, once you taste the elotes from here, you will not go back to any other elote spot. This little hole in the wall place is my holy grail and I cannot recommend it enough.
