I never would have known about shortstop if a friend hadn't taken me there. It's around the corner from the Starbucks at Preston and Royal on the northeast corner. It's a great takeout place. There are few little tables inside and he can eat lunch there if you can find the space, but it's known for its take out. I love the food here. It's fresh, simple, and fast. I would compare it to a Panera. Speedy service if you're looking for a quick-light lunch. The best chicken Cesar salad I've had!

Went for lunch on 1/4/18. Ordered the tuna sandwich that would make me want to "slap my mama" - it was marginal. My mama is safe for now. The best thing about this place is that it is a very quick lunch; I was in and out in 90 seconds.
