“GO TO HUTCHINS INSTEAD!!! (UNLIMTED DESSERT THAT TASTE BETTER THAN HERE) Me and my boyfriend ordered from here and it was NOT worth it. We ordered two buns and they literally squished them into one container. We also ordered two slabs of brisket and they didn't even bother to cut that in half. They also forgot HALF of our order which was the sausages. Mac and cheese tastes really weird because of the cheese they use (not good AT all in my opinion). I also posted a comment under one of their posts on instagram and they of course deleted it. Horrible customer service.“

“Visited Dallas last summer with military friends and ate lunch and dinner at KK. A live band while enjoying dinner was nice. Food was excellent. Shrimp/grits, mac n cheese, yams, porckchops, black eyed peas all were delicious. Looking forward to revisiting this summer.“

No one came to refill coffee, my friend who ordered coffee never got his, I had to flag someone down because something was missing from my order and our table was totally neglected. “Listen….my wife and I are suckers for non big name dining. So tonight we were able to go on a date night for the first time in over a year and I happened to find this restaurant on accident looking for a different one. THE. BEST. mistake I’ve ever made. I got a reservation for the patio area and it did not disappoint. It’s quiet and cozy with a great view of the restaurant interior and we were off to the races at that point. The gentleman who took care of us tonight was a younger guy by the name of Elliott. While he told us he was new to The Porch, you would have never known. His knowledge of the menu was incredible and we didn’t have a question he couldn’t answer. The food was unparalleled and while I would say at this point that you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu: I will absolutely vouch for the food we got that I would say are must try dishes. -Cornbread Fritters -basically hushpuppies made with cornbread, jalapeño and cheddar cheese then deep fried and served with a spicy mayo. (Don’t let the dip fool you. Neither of us are mayo fans. But I would buy an entire jar of that) -Giant Handmade pretzel. It’s as advertised. -Shortrib Stroganoff…this was my dinner and it was incredible. It’s exactly what you think. It’s a stick to the ribs, hearty meal that will fill you up or give you leftovers for a day or two. -The Standard Burger…again. As advertised. It is THE standard. And be ready, you will need both hands and a fork lift to eat it. If you like pickles, the bread and butter pickles are hands down the best pickles I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The drinks were fantastic as well. I always use an old fashioned to gage the bar and restaurant. It exceeded my expectations by a long shot. Folks, you can’t go wrong here. I would highly recommend The Porch to anyone to try. My wife snd I will be back as frequently as we can. The management is incredible and so is the whole experience! You won’t be disappointed.“

“The crawfish (especially the Who Dat style) are SO good. The charbroiled oysters are heavenly. We also love the hushpuppies and Jambalaya egg rolls! They have Happy Hour starting at 4pm, with specials on several menu items. The servers are all super nice and friendly. We always leave there happy and full!“

“First time trying here, and it was soooo good! Get the chickarrones - but it's a massive order, so you'll want to share them. (Had great luck reheating ours in the air fryer the next day!) Chicken tenders were perfect, and biscuits are divine. Brie mac n cheese - I have no words, just get it. Well will investigate more at another visit!“
