“Rustico is some of the best in Denison. The absolute best thick white queso! I always get the Puerco en salsa Verde because the pork is so tender and I love the sauce - but it's a lot of food!
Yesterday, I switched it up and got the jalapeño bacon Mac and cheese appy and was Not disappointed! I'll be getting that again!

I got the wedge salad and crab cakes. Their house made habanero butter and house made cinnamon butter with rolls are SO good.

Service was wonderful, so friendly. We are staying at Eisenhower State Park and it’s only 7 min away from here!

“Ate there this afternoon on a recommendation from a guy who sold me a car. Everything he said about it is true. I ordered a shredded beef crunchy taco, and chili rellano with rice and beans, with a side of guacamole. Plus ate my fair share of chips and salsa. And had sweet tea. Everything was delicious. The salsa, red sauce and guacamole were unique in flavor and freshness. I wish it weren't so far from home. Favorites were guacamole and salsa for a tie. Competitive prices. Plus excellent service, and they have free mints and toothpicks. Definitely recommend and can hardly wait to go again!!”

I honestly laugh at the negative reviews, bc our experience was quite the opposite (yes, there was a wait bc there were many customers ahead of us, but our order came out before she said it would be). We had the chicken and beef fajita tacos and WOW! DELICIOUS! The spicy avocado sauce was phenomenal and everything was tasty and fresh. No rude or snarky attitude as some mentioned. “If you need a watering hole, that’s not rundown. It’s not too fancy middle of the road blue collar. This is the place. The man does it get crazy later. It gets lots of dancing bands on the weekend. People seem to be friendly enough. Just gotta pay attention what’s going on around you And the pool is free every night. How about that? The coffee is great, highly recommend the sugar free options (they have a ton of sugar free options, more than we've ever seen!). The service is always awesome. Despite always being busy, the line moves quickly. The workers are always kind and make sure you like your drink. If they don't, they fix it for you with smiles on their faces. Great pricing for the size of drinks. Really no complaints, this crew works hard and is consistent.”

I had the chopped beef sandwich with extra sauce. It was tasty. Then at the checkout a pleasant young lady asked me if I needed a fork for my sandwich. Just nice experience all around.
