“First off I don't live in this area I was visiting my parents. My parents where getting seafood next to them but don't seafood. So I choose to get BBQ. When I ordered for some reason my card kept getting declined. I told him I was sorry and went to check my bank account to see what the problem was. My account was froze due to a fraud issue from the night before in a area close by. The owner walk out to speak with me. Asked me if everything was OK. I said yes just a issue with my bank. Maybe next time I'm in the neighborhood I'll try out the food. By the time my parents got there food the owner of BBQ spot brought what I ordered and said God bless you. It was greatly appreciated. I got a chopped beef sandwich and red beans and rice. When we got home and ate. It was absolutely delicious. Meat was tender and well seasoned. BBQ sauce was perfect and red beans n rice where well seasoned and spicy. God bless you as well and thank for the blessing!!“

“We recently had to hire David and his team to cater a funeral for us. The feedback we received from everyone, and we had about 100 people , was absolutely incredible!!! We had brisket, baked beans, mashed potatoes, and all the extras like pickles, jalapeños, etc. and his “special Dave sauce” was amazing!! if we had any issues it was that there was no brisket left to take home lol. If you are looking for a catering service with amazing food, incredibly friendly people, You have found the right place. And we also love the fact it’s owned by a Christian family. “I'm a long-time Barbecue aficionado. I even have a list of the BBQ in Dallas. Which brings me to an issue, Who do I push off that list for D Jackson?This place has a great BBQ. The beef is good with well-rendered fat, and a nice smoky taste, the ribs are some of the best around with a great taste and rub and tender while not being overcooked. The Sides are good, fresh, and well-made. Meat however is king here. The service is good and the place though small has a loved feel to it. This place needs more love!“

I went on My lunch break around 1pm ish, the guy was nice, but my cabbage was completely cold the sausage links I got were definitely old, the color was even off, it there was more barbecue sauce I wouldn't have seen the discoloration.
