“Snow Ball Express is a great Raspa Stand! They have a variety of snacks ranging from raspas all the way to Clamatos Preparados! The wait time is long though, sometimes you can be there close to 30 minutes before you get your order in. They do not open at 12 as advertised they open at 12:30 so be on the lookout for that! Overall! Great quality of products, fair prices, and good location at Donna Texas.“

The pancakes, waffles, and french toast were all very fluffy and the chicken fried steak was flavorful. “Easily one of the best coffee shops in the valley. Very spacious, tranquil, delicious coffee, great service. Come to Weslaco and stop by here, not overthere. Plenty of parking on the street or next to the building. Small conference room available. Outdoor seating available. Great spot to say the least.“

The cook got my order wrong but made the greatest effort to correct it without complaint. That’s a big plus in my book. “We loved the small town cafe atmosphere. Super clean place and very busy. Apart from having cool decorations and very attractive menu, the food was tasty. Authentic Mexican breakfast. Appearance and taste on point. Our disappointment was the slow service, and the food was brought out one plate at a time and cold. Also, plates were brought incomplete missing complimentary items. Pricing was fair for the quality of the meal. Again food quality was excellent. Could have been an off day on the service. I enjoyed the music that walked in, excellent Fara Fara.“

Prices won't break your wallet. It's one of the longest standing restaurants in Mercedes! While everyone else closed their doors during Covid, this little restaurant stood the test of time. Yes it's not the most put together like the person above mentioned but you will feel the love in the food.“

“Four of us stopped in for lunch and had three different dishes, a burger, grilled chicken, and fajitas. All of the main dishes were delicious and the sides were amazing as well. Good serving portions and very friendly service. Prices were reasonable, especially given the quality of the food.“
