“We enjoyed our lunch. Service was quick, food was good and ample. Papa joes was a little hard to notice. In a little strip shopping place on the west side of the street between a dollar store and little Caesar's pizza. We love local businesses! Definitely better than a chain!!“
“Our server was on point. Small business with great food and service. We had huevos rancheros and the barbacoa plate. The salsa on the eggs was delicious and just the perfect hint of spice. The tortillas corn and flour were freshly made. Coffee was fresh and so good we had 2 cups plus wanted more. Give it a try, support the small businesses.“

“Easily one of the best coffee shops in the valley. Very spacious, tranquil, delicious coffee, great service. Come to Weslaco and stop by here, not overthere. Plenty of parking on the street or next to the building. Small conference room available. Outdoor seating available. Great spot to say the least.“

Prices won't break your wallet. It's one of the longest standing restaurants in Mercedes! While everyone else closed their doors during Covid, this little restaurant stood the test of time. Yes it's not the most put together like the person above mentioned but you will feel the love in the food.“
