“My first time here. The staff was friendly, the take away service was fast and the food was amazing. I highly recommend the beef lettuce wrap. The beef was very tender and flavorful. The salmon poke bowl was great as well. Can’t wait to go back and try new items.“

“We were in town this weekend, walked to JFK museum, & the smell drew us in on our walk back. The food is absolutely delicious! Lots of menu options, it was hard to decide. I had the crab fried rice {spice level 2, I chickened out lol} & hubby had the pineapple fried rice with chicken & shrimp. Portions were great, food was phenomenal. If you're ever in downtown Dallas, I highly recommend giving them a try! They also have Boba.“

“I ordered from Bowls of Rice for the first time on DoorDash and loved it! The grilled chicken bulgogi rice and crispy vegetable dumplings were both super fresh and delicious.
I’m pretty sure I saw this place on TikTok too so I’ve been wanting to try it! They also included a handwritten note with my name, which was a SUPER sweet touch 😭🫶.

“While the food is fantastic and the sushi is delicious, the service always leaves something to be desired. Our servers for the past three occasions are always a little on the slower side of attentiveness, and tend to need direction from the patrons (need silverware, please don’t just take our drinks; we’re ready to order now since it took 15 minutes to be acknowledged). They are always friendly, but they act like the restaurant is filled to the brim when the back half of the joint is virtually empty. More than anything, I’m so turned off by the service provided by the hostess table. Two younger girls were working the front tonight and acted like they couldn’t even be bothered. My friend apparently came in 20 minutes prior to put our name in, and was quoted 45 minutes, which would’ve been 6:15p. I stopped by the front at 5:50p (before I knew he had already put in our name) and the hostesses were super passive and quoted another 45 minutes to his name that I then realized was already on the list. When we didn’t get called at 6:20p, that friend went to the front only to find out that the girl had thrown away the paper she wrote his name on. Super unprofessional and not at all friendly. I didn’t catch their names, but the evening hostesses on 02/28/2020 need a crash course in hospitality. I’ll keep coming back simply for the convenience of being on the Omni Dallas property, and the quality of the food.“

“Today, was my mother’s Birthday! We decided to try something new, and AMAZING was the outcome! Great owners, good customers service, but most of all the Mashed potatoe egg rolls was 10/10!!! Lemon pepper wings, shan’t compare but it’s here before Wingstop! Keep going ladies, you made our little outing worth it!“

“Second time at Komodo Dallas, first time for dinner.
Went on a Friday and it was calm, very different from when they first opened and we waited over an hour after our reservation.
We did the Dragon Experience ($85/person, family-style) since it was a group dinner. Overall, most of the food leaned really salty for me and didn’t fully hit.
Their Money Bag Dumplings didn’t stand out. The Salmon Miso was inconsistent, some pieces were nicely cooked, others were basically raw, so not everyone ate it. That said, the crispy eggplant with it was actually tasty, great fry on it. I wish we asked for more of the spicy mayo from the Brussels sprouts because it paired really well with the eggplant.
The NY strip was cooked perfectly medium rare, but the glaze or sauce didn’t feel like anything special.
The Korean Fried Chicken looked glazed and beautiful but just didn’t taste as good as it looked and was still too salty for me.
I don’t usually say this, but the spicy tuna roll wasn’t bad, which makes me think ordering more rolls might be the better move here instead of the prix fixe.
The only dish I’d come back for is dessert. The Yuzu Raspberry Dumpling was the standout, perfect white chocolate shell, light filling, not too sweet. Easily the best bite of the night.
Service was good, as expected, and the cocktails were tasty, so maybe cocktails and dessert next time.
I’m giving it 4-stars because of the dessert. Very memorable.“

“Best brunch in Dallas. It's not your typical brunch, unless you think drinking coffee alongside an amazing piece of nigiri is normal. One of the best meals I've ever had. We left stuffed. Truly couldn't tell you what was my favorite part because they were all amazing“

“They are a man of their word. I ordered food on January 24 while the snowstorm had their restaurant facility closed. The order still went through and my payment still processed. I went in a week later to let him know and claim my meal, and there was no hesitation on him honoring the meal that I previously paid for when he could’ve just denied me. Very grateful definitely will be coming back“
