“The women who runs it is Shelly & she is fabulous. Ice cream is homemade, smooth & creamy! She uses fresh fruits to make her ice cream. It’s truly a great place for family outing. Love love loved it. They have local honey & all kinds of local jarred fruits and preserves. Great Atmosphere with great service! Highly recommended”

“We have frequented this establishment for years and love their drinks. Recently I had a Ranch hand ice latte that had a small piece of plastic that landed in my mouth. Having worked in food/service and run a coffee shop, I knew how “things happen.” So we returned just to give em a heads up and replace my drink. They said it was their mocha sauce crystallizing which added so much comfort. They not only replaced the beverage but they let me check the syrup in my cup before adding espresso and milk. Went the extra mile!”

“Homemade goodness! Buffet! Salads, homemade French fries, cobblers, bread pudding, banana pudding, Scott does it all! Everyone raves about the catfish! Boiled shrimp, breaded shrimp, crawfish, crawfish pie. All you can eat Friday & Saturday nights. Scott catered our daughter’s wedding- tender brisket and all the fixins. We would highly recommend The Red Barn.”

“The ONLY reason this isn’t a 5 star review is because David. Hannah at the bar is a true angel! We decided to sit at the bar and sat ourselves at a high top table (which typically is considered the bar.) We were unaware that the only 2 tall tables in the bar section were not the bar to which David ignored us for 15 minutes. When we finally got his attention he told us “y’all sat yourselves, I’m busy”… We are big customer service people and this was clearly a mistake on our part. Kindly let us know and let us know how to correct it instead of disregarding and disrespecting us. Hannah came over and asked if we were okay and said she would take care of us. She also explained that to David when he was on the other side of the bar talking to another waitress about how we sat ourselves and we can wait until he has time. We love Jalapeño Tree and this was the only time we have met a bad egg. Typically their food and service is top tier! Boo David.”

“What's not to love about hot, fresh, homemade pretzels. They also have a food trailer I see around on occasion. Staff is always friendly. My favorite is the salted pretzel with cheese, but all of them are delicious.”
