My son and I wanted to try the new Dave's Hot Chicken that recently opened on Trenton Rd. about a half mile before you get to the Expressway. This location is bigger than the South McAllen location, thus having more tables. The decor is about the same with a slight variation on the ceiling. This location definitely feels more spacious. I got the Dave’s # 4 medium hotness level with fries and slaw , it tasted very good , above average for sure , I do recommend to come and eat here especially if you like chicken tenders .

I really enjoyed the chicken sandwich. Chicken was crispy, hot, and fresh. The bread was soft, hot, and buttery. The sauce was delicious and the fries were sooo yummy. My only complaint is the really LOUD music inside.
