“Everyone knows that finding delicious GF sweets is hard to do, but CAMBO comes close! I tried her GF donuts (plain, blueberry, & chocolate), which you can get without the glaze (!!!)-I went fully glazed and warmed up and the donuts were great. I also tried the jalapeno & cheese kolache (GF and Keto Friendly), and the sausage was tasty but the bread part was meh, and they are small. On the plus side, nutritional info for Keto is available on the glass, so it is convenient. My kiddos enjoyed donut holes and loved the star shaped donuts instead of the traditional circle donut. My husband really liked the powdered sugar donut and said it reminded him of a beignet (he is from NOLA) and also got the boudin kolache which he said was good.“

“I've been going to the location for close to 4 years and I realized as I was moving out of town that I never left a review! This place is amazing, they're so consistent and the kolache and croissants are exactly what you want and expect from southeast Texas family owned donut shops. The woman that frequently works the front is so nice and she remembers me and the group i go with anytime we go. They're so friendly, consistent, affordable, and delicious. “This is the best Shipley's donuts in the area. I buy donuts for Saturday on Friday on my way to work, just so I can have donuts from this location. Their filled donuts are exploding with filling and that's how it should be. Again, I'm there every Friday and wake up Saturday morning with my delicious chocolate cream filled donut. “I live in Ireland and I ordered doughnuts from Ashley’s through Uber Eats to be delivered to my dad (who lives in Clear Lake) for his 70th birthday! I mentioned in the order it was for a birthday and the very kind people at Ashley’s went above and beyond writing Happy Birthday messages on the package and even making a little handmade card! They threw in some extra doughnuts and even packaged one separately decorated with a birthday candle!! In these harder times Ashley’s has provided amazing service and made a birthday surprise feel extra special! Thank you and we will be sure to visit in person again when we can!! If you do fall Victim go to clear lake regional. They are the only ones who can save you.“
