“Well, it was my first time, and I'm not sure why the hype. I gotta keep it 💯 . Basically expensive Panda Express. I ordered the chicken fried rice and just didn't have any flavor behind it. Tried the Orange chicken, and it was alright. No doubt the food was served fast. I was surprised. The tables are clean and the staff are nice. The birthday celebration is pretty cool. I would say try it out.“

“My friends and I had dinner for our annual Christmas ornament gift giving. As soon as we walked in Cruz, a very professional and friendly young man greeted us. After we sat to wait for our meals, he came to our table to check on us and was very attentive. Thank you, Cruz, you are an amazing young man and server“

“The food was great if you dine in. Some of the prices were a bit high and the tables for 2 were really close. Do not order to-go its not worth it and you get more food when you dine in. The spicy shrimp appetizer is 100% recommended 👌 BUT only get if your dining in.“

“We popped in after dropping our car off at Poe Toyota for service. A short walk down the street and we walked in, were greeted warmly & served quickly. The food was delicious, large portions (enough for lunch tomorrow!) A nice, clean, casual place. Highly recommend it!“

“The food was Amazing. The esthetics may discourage you but don't be fooled it's a small restaurant just walk in, sit down and enjoy the good food. The owner is the server and chef, a lively and friendly character. Every ingredient is made fresh on the spot from noodles to rice. He has a chili 🌶️ scale 1-2-3-4-5 I picked 1 and it was good enough for me but if you decide to be macho and pic 5, your mouth will die at your own hands😂😂😂. “it was my first time trying this place & i have to say i was pleasantly surprised! walking into the restaurant, its small but spacious and very clean & was immediately greeted with a friendly smile. i ordered the spicy beef noodle soup and some vegetable potstickers & both were very good! you can tell the noodles & dumplings are made from scratch & the vegetables are fresh!“

“I've never really considered Shan Dong, drive buy it all the time and judging from the out side you would most likely keep driving. We decided to stop in for take out, the inside is very nice and spacious, nicely greeted, very simple menu, great prices, the host offered complimentary tea while we waited for the order, we were surprised there was only one box of fried rice for 2 orders but looking at the top of the box it was marked fried rice × 2, but that's okay the box was stuffed with rice, plenty for 2 meals, I plan on returning soon for the sit down experience.“

“I honestly don't understand the bad reviews. I a semi regular to this place, usually having it delivered. The food is alway good, even with delivery we get it hot and fresh. I will say dinning in the guy that waits tables seems like he doesn't want to be there but I really only care about the food. The give pretty generous portions too.“

“I have eaten twice, once I ordered cold cucumber + braised beef noodles, and once I ordered boiled beef + Yangzhou fried rice. The cold cucumbers are delicious and full of garlic flavor. The braised beef noodles are very salty and don't have much beef. I don't recommend it personally. The boiled beef is slightly spicy and not too spicy. I like it very much. Yangzhou fried rice tastes good and has a lot of ingredients. I eat it with boiled beef. Boiled beef + Yangzhou fried rice is very filling and suitable for people with big appetites. For a Taiwanese who has been on a business trip to El Paso for more than a month, he is very satisfied to be able to eat such Chinese food.“

“Ordered online for lunch and some dinner portions which is a nice option at Noon time. Combo lo mein , lemon chicken, general Tso’s chicken, Szechuan pork, portions were nice and hefty with plenty available for leftovers later on. Everything was hot and ready even the side hot and sour soups were at perfect temp. The lady at front which I believe is the owner is welcoming and very nice and attentive. Overall a fantastic experience thru take out with a crew with a sense of urgency and customer service knocked it out the park for me which is hard to come by nowadays.“

“I recently started eating Peking again. There was a time when the food suffered in quality and freshness but that seems to have passed. I truly only go for the lunch special. It's a great deal and includes an egg roll. I absolutely love the Hot and Sour soup and think it's the BEST in El Paso. For my lunch meal and a soup plus tip I pay $15. I don't really like eating there but I do enjoy the service when I order for pick up. They always include sauces and fortune cookies with your meal as well as utensils and napkins. I'm always happy with meal and typically have leftovers. As far as recommending a specific order I really enjoy the beef and broccoli as well as the sesame chicken. I usually ask for white rice not fried. And again HOT AND SOUR SOUP!“
