The food was so good as always, however the waiter had a hard time with everything, from taking orders, no silverware, n mixed the receipts. (He gave me someone else's credit card n receipts) I think he may have been new. We were a party of 20 n there should have been 2 helpers.. But the food was great!

Luis was very friendly and helpful fo it being our first to eating here his work ethic was more then expected. Went out of his way to help in making a decision on what to eat and what came with the meal and size of the items. Thanks bro u made my day much appreciated 👏 . U all have to try the tortilla soup it was fantastic just straight out delicious 😋

The Riviera | Cocina & Cantina offers traditional El Paso style Mexican food, though it is Tex Mex, not legit Mexican. The restaurant has one of the best green chile burgers in El Paso, which was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly with a rich Southwest flavor. The cheese enchiladas are delicious, served with excellent rice and great taxing beans. The chicken tampiqueña was delicious, and the divorciado (Chile verde and Chile rojo) was enjoyed by others. The salsa is great, with the “BEST” salsa and incredible homemade chips available to buy by the jar. The house made red enchilada sauce is great. The food is made fresh, with different cooks adding their minor flare. The portions are generous, and the combo dos is plenty for two. The service is usually excellent, though some days are better than others with a revolving door of young inexperienced servers. The restaurant is reasonably priced with daily alcoholic beverage specials, including “Taco Monday!” However, a dirty restroom smell is unacceptable, and the owners need a professional sanitation company.
