50 Best Seafood Restaurants in El Paso

“I have been to Mac's several times and try to get something new each time. I drive into El Paso a few times a year and I always stop by here. they make the most amazing flavors of cheesecakes. this last time I tried a new dessert which was a bourbon bread pudding. Oh man it was to die for! but I think this lost weekend I found my favorite dish. Grilled Salmon with an amazing mushroom lemon sauce on a bed of rice. its served with a refreshing and crisp spinach salad on the side. they have amazing po boys lobster mac and cheese and other favorites but this Salmon with the mushroom sauce is by far my favorite. I almost went in again for another plate before I left town lol. The people there are amazing they're friendly and attentive. 5 stars And I always recommend them to my friends and family and El Paso. they've never been disappointed! thanks Mac's for never letting me and my hungry fam down! 💕“

“We spent the day in El Paso shopping from Las Cruces and what a great experience we had! our server, Tanya was attentive, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The food, appetizers, and drinks were on point and delicious. The manager, Sonny came to our table and introduced himself and made sure everything was up to par. We most definitely recommend and will be going back!“

“The catfish nuggets are crispy on the outside while flaky and tender inside. Service was good. Even though there was a line, my order was ready in a reasonable time. The pineapple coleslaw is something I will come back for time and again. This is a very popular place so don't expect to be in and out in a jiffy. Good food takes time to be this delicious.“

“We had a great experience all around tonight at the Angry Crab Shack. We were greeted at the door with at smile and seated immediately. Syd, our server, was great - friendly, knowledgeable, and gave great suggestions. Our food was served quickly. The portion size was good , and it was hot and delicious. The blackened catfish had terrific flavor a little kick with an Asian flare. We loved it! We will definitely be back. Love having good seafood nearby.“

“VERY impressive! The staff was friendly and quick. I ordered a medium ceviche and medium shrimp cocktail thinking they'd small enough to have them both for lunch. Then I started watching them making the food because the kitchen is infront of you like a sushi bar, I realized they were still huge portions! Everywhere else sells portions small and greedy, here they feed you A LOT like it's your grandma and she wants you to eat! Watching the guy making the food shows you he took pride in what he did. When carving avocados, he'd cut off pieces if they didn't meet his standards. I'd have eaten what he cut off and threw away. Lol... long story short... Go here and eat! Very high quality, very fresh and very fast.“

“I was pleasantly surprised by how good the tacos were. The shrimp and steak were well-seasoned and flavorful in the fiesta tacos. The pulpo shack tasted good, but I would have liked more octopus. The house tuna tostada didn't taste as good as it looked unfortunately. The service was decent, but our table had large crumbs on the seats and under the table, it took away from the atmosphere. Overall, an above average reasonably priced experience“

Flounder was over cooked, broccoli was over cooked, turned into a puree using a fork. fork and knife were stained and dirty. told manager on duty, she never returned with clean utensils. food was served but still did not have any clean utensils. place was very dirty. Will never eat there again.“

“Martin was great, he waited for us until I got to his business to buy what I needed. The place is hidden from traffic between warehouses but it was worth the trip. I would recommend this business to anyone looking to buy fresh, wild caught Salmon, Shrimp, Lobster etc. They only deal in cash so show them the money!“

“Great Mexican seefood cocktail. Update December 18 2025. Took sisters to try this place. I told them that it reminded me when we used to eat shrimp coctails in Juarez. They both liked the cocktails. My wife and I had the Campechana. I like it because of the octopus and oysters. I truly recommend it.“

“Went there for a quick drink and light bites! Sat at the bar and the service was great! My bartender/server (didn’t catch his name) was attentive and great at what he does. Very accommodating and made one of the best strawberry margaritas I’ve ever had, not too sweet and plenty strong and perfect hint of fresh strawberry flavor!

I ordered the fried oysters and two of the fried fish tacos! Fried oysters were ok! Could be a lil plumper oysters, but crispy. However the highlight has to be the fried fish tacos omggg the fish was huge and so flakey and moist and tender. With the chipotle aioli it was perfect!! Almost ordered a 3rd one!!!“

“Let me start off by saying the Three course meal for $60.00 is a nice deal! The steak and shrimp was amazing! I also had the veal ravioli for an appetizer and that veal ravioli was the star of the meal! Ruth Chris should make the Veal Ravioli a meal on its own trust me it’s that good! The garlic mash potatoes were gritty with a little to much butter and the house salad was amazing!

My issue with Ruth Chris is they have an identity crisis. I’m not sure if they want to be a high end steak house or sports bar. You had music playing sports on all the televisions I just did not get the high end steak feel.

Overall I do recommend eating at Ruth Chris, the food is good“

“Got the Diabla fish fillet platter, which was very good. It's a lot of food, with a delicious soup, salad, potatoes, excellent arroz, and beans. Fish was cooked well, not overdone. The salsa Diabla was tasty and fairly hot, with bacon mixed in with peppers. The fresh limonada was refreshing. Service was good. Daily lunch specials. Would go back. The shrimp cocktail looked great.“

“First time- I couldn’t make up my mind so many choices so I had settled on the fish tacos with slaw, my husband had the garlic fish. I kept stealing his food, it was perfection! We devoured our food so quickly. The banda music was playing in the background and our server was very quick. The chips were fresh and the salsa was flavorful not too spicy which I really love, also a small bowl of the caldo ♥️, we really enjoyed our meal. We will be back.“

“We got out off an appointment late and needed to find something that served gf and were still open. I was so grateful they were willing to take our order even though we came in towards the end of the night. They were patient and explained my gf options. They even provided convenient containers with plenty of broth to-go do or meal would be fresh if we were taking it some distance. We would love to come back when in the area sometime.“
