Skinny’s BBQ Reviews
OMG, what a great place for some of the highest quality and best tasting BBQ I’ve ever had. The staff is small yet helpful and attentive. They take your order and also prepare and fill it. Double duty with a friendly smile the entire time. I can’t say enough about the food. Brisket you can pull apart with a fork. Such great bark flavor. The pulled pork was awesome. As a Veteran, I appreciate it’s a Veteran Owned business! This will become a regular stop for me every...read full review
Still sitting here listening to their tunes and letting the food settle! Fantastic food and service.
Veteran owned. First place I’ve ever in my life seen a prayer request box on the front counter. Give this place a visit!
Tried Skinny’s BBQ this weekend and it did not disappoint! The ribs, brisket, sausage, and mac and cheese were all absolutely delicious. Ate until I couldn’t eat another bite. If you love good BBQ, this place is a must!

Skinny's BBQ serves well-cooked brisket, especially in West Texas, where they know how to prepare it. The "Cowboy" sandwich with 7-pepper sausage adds a nice kick to the brisket. Customers praise the great quality, friendly service, and delicious flavor, which rivals and may even surpass local favorites. The menu includes ribs, sausage, pulled pork, and mac and cheese, all praised for their fantastic taste. Portions are generous and a good size for the price, often enough to take home leftovers. The staff are friendly and helpful, creating a great vibe with a wonderful mix of music playing in a cozy ambiance. The beef brisket has a balanced smoke flavor with tangy bark and is moist and lean, although some have found it a little dried out at times. The pulled pork has a great smoky flavor, though it can be too salty for some. The ribs stand out as fantastic, tender, and complemented by excellent sauce. The BBQ beans, with bacon and jalapeños, are a highlight, while the potato salad has a homemade taste, though some found the potatoes undercooked and cut too large. For those with dietary restrictions, the beef brisket is a good choice if pork is not preferred. Customers appreciate the overall experience, noting it as a staple stop for BBQ in El Paso.
