The best place
We were here for a trip and were on our way to Texas Roadhouse when we saw this place. After checking out the online menu we decided to give it a try and so glad we did. This place was amazing. The service was great. Both ladies were very sweet and informative. The food was soo good it didn’t make it home. Taquería Ay Cocula offers good tacos with good service. The birria tacos are crispy, cheesy, and packed with super tender, flavorful beef, and the consommé on the side is a must dip. The asada tacos are simple but perfectly seasoned, juicy, and fresh with cilantro and onion. The Al Pastor is off the charts, especially the meat right off the trompo. Tripitas, barbacoa, asada, and carnitas are all delicious. The vibe feels authentic and laid back, and the salsa bar is a nice offering. The margs are really good too. Tuesday's 2x1 is a great deal, and pricing is fair. Service can be spotty if the order is messed up, and there is added gratuity for parties of six that is not mentioned on the menu.
