This restaurant has a particularly sophisticated and attractive decor.
Before seating us the hostess gave an amusing mini-lecture on how we should make a reservation in the future. (The restaurant was half empty) Our very hungry party of four felt that both she and our server seemed somewhat unfriendly, which was awkward. You'd have no idea that such an upscale steakhouse was located at the bottom of the West Star Building if you were just driving by. I have driven by Weso many times, but it wasn't until a friend recommended it did I finally learn where it was. I was very excited to try it after gleaning the menu, but everything exceeded my expectations. Went to sushitto next door, waited 15 minutes no server or greeting. Came here, & ‘ Juan turned our frowns upside down! Lovely place, great steak, huitlacoche empanadas to die for, 10/10
