“MAKE THE DRIVE. We made a 1.5 hr trip from Longview for lunch, and wow it does NOT disappoint. The owner Nolan made a point to come by to check in multiple times and make sure we didn’t need anything additional and chatted with our two younger children who think he is a celebrity after watching him on Meat Church YouTube. We got the belly buster to try a little bit of everything and it easily fed two adults and two smaller children with leftovers to take home. The pastrami Brisket is unlike any other brisket I have ever had before and has earned #1 in mine and my husbands personal rankings 😂 The elote- fantastic. The Mac and cheese- family favorite and better than your mama’s I’m sure of it. The link sausage and Texas Twinkie also top notch. Just go. And soon before they make their way to top 10 which I know undoubtedly they will.”

“The chicken shawarma is AMAZING! As good or better than a Lebanese place I went to in Detroit. I asked where he learned to make it like that. He said Germany. If you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend it. Especially if you like spicy food. If you hate spicy, then maybe not. My kids got angus burgers with cheese and loved them. The hot dogs were popular with people in line. You may have to wait a bit at peak times, but well worth it. It’s parked in front of lumber at Lowe’s.”

I had the sirloin steak with mac and cheese: the steak was seasoned very well, cooked nicely, and topped with butter. It was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! The mac and cheese was warm and delicious as well. I also tried the burger with grilled onions; it came out hot, seasoned perfectly, and was accompanied by equally delicious fries. The staff was very kind and welcoming, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed evening out. The attention to detail in both the food and the service truly set Lakeview Steak House apart. “This small food truck delivers big flavor. I had the single mushroom bacon Swiss burger, and it was so tasty. The burger was juicy and flavorful. The bacon was crispy and the cheese was ooey gooey. As a side, I had the garlic parmesan truffle fries. They were crunchy and packed with parmesan flavor. For dessert, I had the dessert nachos. These are homemade cinnamon sugar chips, topped with fruit, caramel sauce, chocolate sauce, condensed milk, and a homemade berry jam. L Oh so good. The people who run it are friendly and nice. This is an outdoor food truck area. You can sit at a bench, and enjoy the day or evening while you wait for your food. Make sure you follow them on Facebook, so you can see when they're open.”
