“I was in Dallas for work, I didn’t know anyone out here so I looked for a bar to hang out at and this one was perfect. The atmosphere was there. The bartenders are really nice. I just needed to get out of the hotel but I enjoyed hanging out there would definitely recommend!“

“If you're a smoker this is your place, I'm not a smoker and was invited by a coworker that is and I have to say met some of the most down to earth people! Reminded me of the show Cheers, everybody knows you're name.
Sherry the bartender walked up beside me even though I was obviously not a regular, sticks her hand out and says, Hi my name is Sherry!

“Came in with our Irreverent Warriors Veteran Suicide Prevention hike with 100 thirsty folks and Taylor was up for the task! Served drinks quickly and when someone dropped a glass he was there in 15 seconds to clean it up. He even wore a mental health awareness shirt today knowing the battles our tribe faces. Thanks Taylor. Love you brother!“

“I visited yesterday (3/5/2026) for the first time after The Happy Armadillo was recommended by someone I meet at No Frills in Burleson. Lo and behold, she was actually there during my visit, which made my visit all the more eventful and enjoyable.
There weren't that many people, because it was about lunch time, but I absolutely love this place. It's a small, quaint, and the people are amazingly friendly. It encompasses everything I imagine when picturing a neighborhood bar.
I'm so glad the bartender (Gretchen) said they served Banquet. Otherwise, I wouldn't have gone. I wish they had it on tap, but the bottles did the job 😁
