I visited the McDonald’s in Farmersville today, and I wish I had read the reviews beforehand. My experience matched many of the complaints others have shared. When I walked in, there was no one at the counter, and the kiosk informed me they were only taking “to‑go” orders. I wish I could give 0 stars. This McDonald’s is always slow no matter what. Pick up orders are never ready when I put them in 30 minutes in advanced. I asked to buy a kids meal toy separately because my kids wanted one and we had already purchased separately meals and the manager said no. Just sell the damn toys if someone wants to buy them it doesn’t make sense. Like it comes out of his paycheck or something. McDonald’s receives mixed feedback. One visit stood out for dirty dr peppers that were Amazing as always, with sweet, smiling service at the cash register. A drive through experience was great from beginning to end: the order was repeated with no issues, payment service was friendly, and second window service was great. The food was the best quality so far at this location—hot, perfectly put together, and the fries were hot and made perfectly, unlike other times when food was cold and fries were undercooked and terrible quality. However, a morning visit for coffee and food at 6:30-7 am was disappointing because the coffee machines were being cleaned, forcing a drive to the next town over for breakfast.
