“Great place to go if you are travelling in between San Antonio and Houston. You know it’s good because the locals keep it afloat. Pay heed to the reservation comment, we went at 5:30 and it was empty but by 6:30 it was packed! (And it was on a weekday)

The food is great and I absolutely giggled that you could have a taco as a side to your steak. It was surprisingly good! It used the steak meat trimmings and I dipped it into the queso.

The staff is super attentive and kind.

Oh also-for reservation I used the Google reservation system and it was really slick. It’s interesting how technology has progressed!”

“Everything here is delicious! The courtyard is adorable, the waitstaff friendly, with the ambiance of small-town charm! Highly recommend ordering a half-sandwich, because the servings are large (and filling.)”

“My favorite tacos in the area. I have a farm 20 minutes out from Flatonia so I eat here whenever i’m there. But if i’m ever driving towards San Antone or New Braunfels, somehwere out there I make sure to stop off i10 and grab me some Josesitos! Their tacos are amazing and easily accessible off the freeway for a good quality food stop!”

“I am so happy the original owners are back! We tried their hamburgers the other day for lunch and they were FANTASTIC! They are thick and juicy - we tried the sourdough bun and the jalapeño sourdough bun and both were very good. The french fries that come with it were seasoned very well. It is a really good lunch!”

“This place was super busy but the Dairy Queen team did it , food was hot fresh and delish. The person front counter was amazing his name is Jason. Kudos to you for your hard work and patience even when drink station was down temporarily. Jason was calm cool and sincere during our interaction went the extra mile to make sure our experience was pleasant. The rest of the team were also very responsive to our needs. We're from Houston and will definitely hit you up on the way through there and back. Thank you.”

“This picturesque vineyard, tasting room, and holiday cabin are one of the best wineries I've ever visited.
They have a broad assortment of wines that includes reds, whites, and dessert vintages. Our favorite was Cardinals Crown, with its rich and complex flavor.
Their neat fields of vines slope gently down to the tranquil farmhouse, which is surrounded by fruit trees, playful dogs, and the window neatly framing it from the tasting room's overlook.
They also have a delicious food menu, making it easy to stay all afternoon.
The winery is an easy drive from Schulenburg, past one of the famous painted churches.
We stayed at the vacation rental cabin, which was a piece of luxury in a rustic setting. It allowed us to end each day making s'mores and begin each day watching wildlife cross the fields. What a place.”

“I came to interview the owners for an article about moulton’s food offerings, decided to try the barbacoa, and am so glad I did! I swear I ate that taco in two bites it was so tender and delicious! Can’t wait to come back and check out more of the menu.”

“The restaurant has amazing food and waitstaff, never once have I had anything to complain about this place, however the bar is a different story! A group of us, 3 to 6 every time, have been in several times to listen to the music. The two women working the bar are horrible. They are rude and super slow with your drinks. Many times in one night several of us had to go up to the bar and try to get our own drinks ordered only to be told by the waitress to go sit down and she will take our order there, others went up there to find both outside together smoking and leaving it unattended for customers! I'm sure the owner wouldn't like this. another party there that we didn't know was complaining about it as well, so it wasn't just us. Every time we went in for music (3 times in the last month)was like this with the same waitstaff. No one wants to go back because of this, such a shame as we all enjoyed the musicians. I might add that we didn't have just a few beers, we ordered appetizers as well, we probably would go more and stay longer if the staff in the bar was better.”
