“My friend and I met in Flatonia for lunch at Edna’s Kitchenette, which was delightful. Afterwards, we were walking around town and asked a lady a question. We ended up having a great conversation as well as some samples of jalapeño pimiento cheese (had a bite to it, but just right!), some queso and chips and a snickerdoodle and a chocolate chip s’more cookie I can attest that they were all wonderful! It was a wonderful little town off I-10 between San Antonio and Houston, so if you need a break from the Highway, give it a shot!“
