I was initially a bit hesitant because I just found them online but after speaking with LuAnne, she put me at ease with her promptness and input.Everything we order was a big hit! I especially recommend the moms green beans, shrimp and grits and brisket and pulled pork with vinegar sauce.They serve authentic Alabama/southern cuisine and I cannot tell you how excited my husband was when he discovered they made peanut butter pie “the right way.”Also, they delivered the food hot and on time. I’m pretty sure Craig is a living angel.Highly recommend these guys in every way!“
“Very friendly and helpful crew. They truly seem to enjoy their work and share that enthusiasm with quests. The people in the back had a great system for keeping up with orders from the drive-thru as well as those of us that walked in. My reason for this is because the sandwiches are always so stuffed full of ingredients that eating it in the car simply isn't a viable option for me. The tables and floors were very clean and the tea was fresh. Just over all a great experience.“

“The food at our wedding was the star of the show thanks to Royal Fig! The staff was wonderful from the start. We had a fabulous tasting with them which honestly made it so hard to pick our menu- everything was AMAZING! We ended up going with passed appetizers and a plated dinner. They were so accommodating with our little tweaks and changes to the menu and guest list. One thing that really made our day special was that since my husband and I were unable to attend cocktail hour (due to taking pictures) they dedicated a server to us to make sure that we didn’t miss out on the appetizers and cocktails! Royal Fig was attentive, timely, and most importantly delicious! Wedding food can often be a let down but with Royal Fig it was the star!“

“Beth and her team at La Pera were, in a word, astounding. From the moment we met at the tasting, we could tell they were going to take the time to create something custom and unique for our wedding. We felt that she listened to our needs and was very easy and flexible when we wanted a different option or needed to change something. On the day of, her team was very efficient with their time and were very willing to work around our venue's needs in regards to set up. The staff was very caring and attentive to our guests, and it was apparent that they put a lot of love into their work. The overall presentation of our food was stunning, and guests could not stop complimenting the food. We will be dreaming about that meal for the rest of our lives! Beth was a wonderful person to work with for such a stressful occasion, as she made it easy and comfortable to make decisions and work through various options. “This place was great! I was going to go to tacoly Moley, but it was really difficult to access. I decided to give up on that venture and check out D Yanira’s kitchen. She was very helpful walking me through the menu and recommended wonderful dishes. I got the flautas plate and it was huge for the price I paid. “Ate here on a rainy, cold evening in April. The meats were delicious. Seriously, they were excellent. I really liked the pork ribs and brisket. None of the sides were very good (beans, slaw, elote). The jalapeño cheddar sausage was pretty good (not spicy enough for my taste). The bread was fine.“
