The guacamole was excellent as is.Thank you, we will be back.Parking: Parking was great at 11:00 am, but was rather full by the time we left. Nice parking lot.“

“Solid Mexican food here in Tyler. A little on the greasier side, but the flavors are fantastic. Lunch rush can be a bit slow sometimes, but I always call ahead now and never have any issues. They have great food and fantastic salsa (if you like spicy). I've been going here for over a year regularly and would definitely recommend it!“

“This restaurant is way undervalued. The BEST Mexican food I have had in a long time. Service was great, generous portions. I had the shrimp quesadilla and wasn't disappointed. Doesn't look fancy from the outside, but I'll make sure I go there next time I am in Tyler! You should check it out.“

“MUST TRY! Hands down!! I just left maybe 10 minutes ago! I had to pull over to eat after I had a small taste! Their meat is tender and full of flavor so much that I didn’t drink anything after! When I walked in I was immediately greeted and I told them this was my first time and they had no problem going over their menu! The customer service was beyond great, one gentleman got me to try a meat I would have never tried and it was GREAT! I will be going back whenever I’m in Tyler! Very happy about finding a new taco place!!!“

“We always order here for taco night and take it to go. Everyone I've talked to over the phone calls me friend! The carne asada is amazing! This is an offbeat place to go for street tacos. They always sell out of queso before I can order, dangit! It's super good!“

“This is a bit of a hole in the wall, but the authentic Mexican food is the bomb! We've been twice for lunch. For $5 you can get an amazing taco plate. They bring out a red and a green sauce that you can add to your dishes. The green is very flavorful, and the red has a good kick. They also offer breakfast but we haven't tried that yet.“

“I get the fried shrimp lunch whenever I visit Tyler. Their onion rings are big, juicy and with a crisp crunch, too. Very popular at lunch time from what I have seen. They serve breakfast, but I have not tried it. Spoke to the owner once. He took a real interest in customer service.“

“We haven't been to Tyler in a long time, but decided to spend the day shopping and hanging out. We decided on Abuelo's for dinner- the best decision everrrrrrr! We tried their new Fresca Bowls and they were absolutely wonderful! The service was great, restaurant was clean, and we will be back for more of their chips & salsa(s) soon!“

“The best service in Tyler, TX. The food is excellent, best queso in the south. The bartenders are personable and know their cocktails. Management is absolutely the best and strive to always satisfy the customer. Shoutout to Charlene!! I highly recommend.“

“The Brussel sprouts are sooo yummy!! Even if you don’t like Brussel sprouts, you’ll enjoy these. I love this place! Being that the food is cooked made-to-order, you have to expect it to take a little longer and sometimes ask for the tortillas on the side so they don’t get soggy-this is not a complaint. I appreciate it being fresh. I love my local taqueria <3“

“The food here is great. The chips are homemade and not made earlier in the day. Each time I have come here, I receive fresh chips. I have tried the tacos and the sopes, both are delicious. The queso dip is not that great but that is only one thing. They still get 5 ⭐️s from me.“

“This place has very good authentic Mexican food. I was very pleasantly surprised. I just moved from the Southwest. We thought we wouldn't be able to find good Mexican food. But Yoli's is pretty top notch. It's inside of a gas station, so the atmosphere is meh. But the food is fantastic and Oscar is very nice. We will definitely be regulars.“

“I love this place. Their white queso is so good. Chorizo breakfast tacos are what I usually get in the morning, and the #11 for lunch. Their horchata ain't bad either. Extremely cheap and tasty. Don't let the outside deter you from coming in.Update 3/24/24 - still love this place, still great“

“I fell in love with the food after the first time. The flautas are my fav. I tried the dessert and the flan with chocolate cake on the bottom wasn’t doing it for me and the tres leches was good but could use more milk only because the bottom was a little dry but the flavor was delicious. Overall good eating and I will be back.“

“Authentic down to the atmosphere. Ive always started to rate mexican restaurants right off the bat by the Chips and salsa and they’re nothing short of great here. Salsa is served warm and with queso blanco. Ordered the molcajete with nopales and it was amazing. Fantastic food and staff. Even the side plate for the molcajete was awesome. Guacamole is homemade with cilantro in it. I will be returning!“

“We tried this new Ruby's location. It was excellent. The service was great. Their was only a short wait for the food. The portions were big and full you up. The food tasted delicious. This is more authentic and not tex mex. We'll definitely come back here again.“

“First time here. We came later in the day after the lunch rush. Service was slow. The food was good, not traditional salsa more like a Pico, it was good and spicy. We had the Elvis plate, there was plenty of food, flavors were good. The queso it was a little different but would do it again.“

“Yum Yum. This place has way more than just Taco’s and everything taste so great. I absolutely love their menu, and the staff is simply wonderful. There’s nothing I can complain about. I highly recommend them. They also have a mobile kitchen and you can catch them around the area.“

“Food was great! Enchiladas were hot (temperature). Perfect!Service was good. They were understaffed. Many tables were dirty. (Wednesday night)My main complaint is that they did not have fried ice cream available. It was the main reason I went and the owner didn’t make enough to get through the week.“

“When the food is good, it is very good. I really like the ceviche, but there are plenty of offerings to choose from, The service is good, but it does get crowded and of course, it slows down. The bar serves good drinks and is usually loud and jumping. When the weather is nice, it's lovely to sit outside and enjoy the lights. It's a great place to take guests that haven't been. It's great old house.“

“We needed a place in Tyler for out of town family to gather after my mother-in-laws memorial service. Papasitas fixed a backroom with tables close enough for everyone to visit comfortably and put together a great buffet for 25 of us. Clay was our main server and he was nothing less than phenomenal. Never knew until today there even was a Papasitas in Tyler ! We will be back.“

“I had gotten two tortas( one for me, one for my coworker), and then 3 tacos. Me and my coworker both agreed on the tortas being amazing and how soft and delicious the bread was. The one downside was the tacos, they were dry and didn’t have much flavor to them(even with a lime). Overall i give this place an 8/10. Thank you for a good lunch break .“

“Pleasantly surprised. Tex-mex with more mex than tex. Definitely going back. The service was great. Our waitress was actively listening to our orders and even reminded us of something we had been talking about when she asked for our drink order.“

“Great food, portions and prices. We have been trying to get over and try this place for while and glad we did. Even though they were closing (our bad) they still served us with a smile. Seriously, the chips and queso are what you wish every Telmex place served. The fajita street tacos are legit. Want to go back and try the barbacoa.“

“This place is pretty good 8/10I'm not to into Mexican food so don't bully me that I ordered the hamburger, but it was probably better than some actual burger places. Now to make this fair the family I was there with said it wasn't bad food and would give it a 8/10.The service wasn't bad either, they were kind and got the food out pretty fast. Over all not a bad place to eat.“

“My husband and I - along with my Sister went to Mercados the Day before Easter Sunday 2024. We all enjoyed our Cheese Sauce and Chips, the Chicken Enchiladas, and other Meal Entrees. It is the Chocolate Cake that my sister and I ordered for Dessert that we did not like. The Cake is Very thick .. almost 5 inches thick and Not Moist at all. The Chocolate Icing, however. the best part - a chocolate Drizzle. The Cake should be made much Moister and not as thick. The Icing should also be Sweeter .. and more of it ...“

“This place was really good. Their salsa is EXCELLENT, and the chips were light and fresh. (In contrast to the place in Brownsboro, who's chips taste like they were cooked in used oil they bought from a Chinese food restaurant, and their salsa tastes like canned tomatoes)The staff was friendly and attentive, but in all fairness, we were one of only two tables in the restaurant. Very kid friendly options too. And the kids plates didn't come out hot for them to burn themselves on.We ordered the "build your own burrito bowls", and they came out really fast. (Again, they were slow, so it's not a good litmus test). They were SO GOOD. Think Chipotle burrito bowl, only everything is 10x better, and you get twice as much for only $12.Will definitely be back, especially since Los Dos closed.“
