Such a great place to get good authentic food!! We order the number 7 and it is phenomenal!!! Go try it.... it's good!!!
It is what it is. It's a small, authentic Mexican restaurant with a comfortable family atmosphere. The chicken super quesadilla is bonafide delicious. The salsa is, well, the best in town.

Taqueria El Lugar serves solid Mexican food in Tyler, with fantastic flavors even if the dishes are a bit greasy. The lunch rush can be slow, but calling ahead resolves any issues. The restaurant offers great food, including tacos, enchiladas, and ham-based dishes like the #7. Spicy food lovers will appreciate the fresh and spicy hot sauce.
