“I came in around lunchtime, and couldn’t believe that I was one of only a couple people there. I thought it was cool that all the staff seemed to get along and have a good time. Place was very clean and looked brand new. I ordered my eggs over medium and they were cooked absolutely perfectly. In fact, this is probably the only time I’ve ever had my eggs cooked the way they should be at any restaurant I ever go to lol. I would absolutely come back.“

“The crown jewel of the Meadowbrook neighborhood in Fort Worth, since opening Coffee Folk has served a much needed function for the neighborhood - a true third space for families and neighbors to meet and interact with one another. The coffee is amazing. The owners treat you like family and are always incredibly accommodating. They also sell food from local vendors. Their popularity does mean that wait times can be longer at certain times but the wait is always worth it. Plan accordingly and you will not be disappointed.“

“This was definitely a 5 star choice made today. Our first time here, so did a “make your own skillet”. The wife had corn-beef hash and eggs. Mine was chicken fried steak and eggs with a side of crispy bacon, hash-browns, and a biscuit. Wonderfully delicious. The wife truly loved hers. We ordered the eggs over medium - perfect. The chicken fried steak was tender and just the right size for the combo. Bacon was kind of on the salty side but still great. The biscuit was homemade and soft and just went great with the amazing gravy and at the end, what was left in the plate for soppin’. We will most definitely come back.“

“Me, my wife and her family were looking for a place to have breakfast today. It being Christmas Day, I know that the pickin's we're going to be slim. We went to 1 place and got completely ignored. So we said let's try Waffle House on Renfro. There was a place for all seven of us to sit and they weren't completely slammed, but yet they were still busy. I'll tell you, I've been coming to this location for at least 15 years and i've never had a bad meal here, ever. Today was no exception. The way that the staff worked with each other in tandem with the servers was something to watch. Surprisingly, our waitress and the other ones that were there, kept cool under pressure and handled us with grace and attentiveness. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood and was in amazing spirits since it was Christmas. So big thanks to the entire staff that handled the 7 of us and as well as everyone else that was there today!“

“I never leave reviews and walked in thinking oh I love the atmosphere and vibes of THIS place, surely it'll be great. NOPE, ALL I went out for breakfast for was some decent French Toast and the person who takes your order at the register even repeated FRENCH TOAST back to me, and yet somehow he got a waffle instead and because he did, they refused to fix the issue and give me what I ordered because the person who rings you up put waffle on the ticket. I dont know if the food is good or not cause I didnt even get to eat, as I never got what I actually ordered.“

Not once did I wait on refills, I didn't even get a chance to ask for a to go box he just brought it. He was so extremely kind and really did such an amazing job !! “I posted a Google review and the restaurant responded but I can't respond back to them on Google, so here's me response: Don't try to blame delivery for your weird rubbery eggs and half cooked potatoes. When I sent a picture of the food to people, the response from most of them was something along the lines of "those are eggs?!" And I didn't say you used boxed pancake mix, I specifically accused you of using boxed confetti cake mix (without the confetti) for your pancakes. It smells exactly the same and I couldn't take more than 1 bite because they were so disgusting. Here is my original review: I got food through Uber. The egg scramble tasted good but the texture was rubbery. The potatoes were only half way cooked so they were soft on the outside and dense on the inside. The pancakes were flat and absolutely disgusting. Somehow they taste like Tylenol... Have no idea how that happens. We ordered orange juice and strawberry lemonade, and the lemonade was missing but that could have been a delivery issue. Edit: I figured out why the pancakes taste so off. They were made with store bought cake mix. They smell exactly like the store bought confetti cake powder. And here is their response: Good Morning Stephanie, I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your take out meal. I can understand that you may not like the taste of our pancakes but I can assure you we do NOT use store bought pancake mix for our pancakes. Unfortunately, once the order leaves our restaurant we can't control what happens to it or how long it takes to get delivered to you which can affect the quality of the meal.
