It is the best dfac on ft bliss. The staff is attentive, there is no shortage of food and the food is always good.
Well-run dining facility. Variety enough for every pallete and diet.
Five NEGATIVE stars. FILE ICE COMPLAINTS.
This DFAC has served spoiled food multiple times in my time here. The food quality is sub par and borderline inedible. A quick visit to any other DFAC on post exposes this for what it is rather fast. Staff regularly shift hours that are outside of normal hours for soldiers, leaving us unable to eat, and turning us away for dinner. Absolutely unacceptable and it's time something is done about it.

Based on the reviews, Bamford Warrior Restaurant (DFAC) South Entrance offers a good Army mess hall experience. The meals are basically the same each day, but the food is pretty fresh and decent. There are great choices in great healthy food, including hot daily entrees, a salad bar, side dishes, and desserts. Breakfast offered grits and turkey sausage, which was yummy. They also have soft serve ice cream, which is a huge perk. The facility is clean, and the staff is outstanding and friendly. However, one place has a terrible smell from the sewage system, making it almost unbearable. The prices are very reasonable, and there is lots of parking. It is open to the public with limited hours, and no reservations are required.
