I've seen this place around for the entire 25 years we've lived around here, but had never eaten here. I did today, and I will be back. I had the chicken fried steak with spinach and pinto beans. Every bite was delicious. I'll be back. It has a nice hole-in-the-wall vibe, but that just gives it character. The employees were super friendly. As I said, I'll be back.
Excellent! Happened to be on Hemp Hill and this was a real treasure! I had a vegetable platter for $7.99 and went away stuffed! Very, very good!Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian, but their veggie selection was really good!

Delicious breakfast at a great price! Everything was great! I had the Hemphill Platter (bacon extra crispy how I like it ?) My mom had the chicken fried steak breakfast and loved it. Service was great and I liked the diner atmosphere. Will definitely be back! ??
