Tokyo Cafe is a modern yet traditional restaurant with a spacious and visually appealing interior. The bao buns and beef bowl were outstanding, surpassing expectations. Sushi is well-made, and cooked entrees like the fish and chips are delicious and filling. The menu offers gluten-free options and customization. The Tejas is a favorite roll. The atmosphere is lively, and the place is always packed. Service can be slow at times, especially during peak hours. The omakase was absolutely great. Consistency isn't quite there yet, but issues are handled well. The TanTan is delicious, though spice levels can be adjusted. They can switch out pork or beef options. Prices are reasonable, with sushi being the most expensive option. Despite a cramped parking lot, Tokyo Cafe is a great Japanese restaurant worth trying.
