Came here when visiting Dallas and surprised to find they had true Lao dishes! My friends and I ordered a bunch and shared. My favorite dishes were the garlic pork bites, they were so crispy and tender! the pad Thai and nam khao were my favorite entrees . I really appreciated that they had different spice levels to customize your dish.They also had mee ka tee! As a Lao woman it’s hard to find authentic Lao food when I travel, so I was pleasantly surprised and satisfied ?
We decided to check out this Thai restaurant for lunch. You walk in and place your order. They have a big board with menu items and take-out brochure with more details about the menu items. This was our first time here. We ordered Fresh Rolls with Chicken (in rice paper) and peanut sauce, Pot Stickers, Mee Ka Tee soup, Pad Thai with beef, Yellow curry with beef, and one soda. Visited Frisco for the weekend and popped into Kin-D to try their take on Lao food. I was super impressed at how authentic and flavorful each dish was! I had lunch with 6 people so we were able to taste several dishes including the veggie and pork rolls, Lao sausage, garlic pork bites, nam khao, khao piak, mee ka tee, basil and curry fried rice, and pad thai.I was super impressed that they had nam khao and mee ka tee - two dishes I love but rarely see at restaurants.Overall everything...read full review
