“I went during happy hour, they have some really good deals. Lamb chops, Fried mushrooms & Smoked Gouda Macaroni: 10/10❕Collard greens 6/10, Lemon drop 8/10🍋🍸. The food came out within 10 minutes & it was fresh 🤯 The bartenders weren’t as welcoming, they seemed to be annoyed to be there & like they didn’t want to be bothered, even the person beside me said the same. Definitely kind of threw off the vibe but I made the best of it laughing with the patrons beside me. The manager was personable & very friendly. I had an issue and she was right on top of it.“

“1/12/2025-This is a awesome vibe here. The ambiance is a nice bistro with some crazy art to keep you entertained but the music and lighting sets the mood. I would come back here again and again. I visited here without a reservation and was greeted when I first came in. The staff was nice friendly and attentive. Emma was awesome and recommended some dishes. The burger, half chicken, rice, and sesame butter cookie were awesome and the drinks. I had the voodoo drink. I highly recommended and you won't be disappointed.“

“We in the area at a brewery and stumbled upon this place via google reviews. Safe to say it did not disappoint! The food was amazing. My husband said they were “the best wings” he’s ever had. The seafood fries and burger were also outstanding. Highly recommend!“

“Excellent experience! The good was great as it always is. The wait staff went above and beyond. At the end of our meal the waiter asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu. We said that we would love a slice of cheesecake. The waiter said “let me check.” After a brief moment he returned with a bag from Pappa's Bro's steakhouse from across the street with a cheesecake in it. They didn't have cheese so he went across the street to get us one and did not charge us for it. They made customers for life.“

“The bartenders are very knowledgeable on the beers they have in tap, which is amazing considering the amount of different beers they carry and rotate out. It is lame that over the years the lady on the mural did get a bra added on to her. Then we realized the mural looked as if it’s been peeling or torn. Unfortunately the smoke shop owner from next door decided to vandalize it by spraying it down with water pressure. Regardless of the sabotage the food and service had remained consistent and that’s what’s important. The bartenders are so helpful, chill and witty. Wouldn’t be Moontower without them“

“Went to pick up my boys from the airport and stopped here because I was a little early. As soon as I stepped in I knew I was gonna like it because I'm a big fan of hole in the wall spots. Big portions, low prices compared to back home (MD) and it was good, especially the bacon. Don't overthink it, if you're close and hungry just eat here.“

“This was my first time trying the food, and I must say it was excellent. The wings were perfectly seasoned all the way through, and I appreciated that they were whole wings, not just wingettes. The Kool-Aid was tasty, and the gyro sandwich was also well-seasoned. The wait time is a bit longer than usual, but since everything is cooked fresh, I didn’t mind. The location is in a somewhat sketchy strip mall, but just park, head inside, place your order, and leave—it's not an issue. While I wasn’t a fan of the fries, the main dishes were great. Bottom line: I’ll definitely be back.“

I will definitely order a regularly priced meal from this establishment when I visit Houston again. Kudos to you!“

“We used the Silver Sycamore to host our daughter’s baby shower. From the start we knew it was the right choice. Krista answered all our questions and went above and beyond making the decor pop for us. The catering staff is also so polite and welcoming. Highly recommended!“

“Franks Grill on Telephone Road opened in 1963 by my neighbors Frank and Bertha Mae Jones of Glenbrook Valley, Houston. I washed dishes on opening day and my mother "Pipsy" was the cashier. Frank greeted every customer personally with a smile. Bertha Mae baked the best homemade pies in the world, all from scratch. For breakfast you got a half a plate of hashbrowns with 2 sausage patties and 2 eggs. Add coffee all for under $3 Dollars. I ate there most of my life and is still good today.“

“I highly recommend this Café. I ordered to go as I’m leaving state after breakfast, but the girl that helped me carry my drinks out was super sweet. Not being from Texas I was curious about everything on the land and she was very informative (I should’ve gotten her name). I ordered the Sycamore 2s which was 2 pancakes (choice of 1/2 waffle or 2 slices French toast), 2 eggs, and 2 pieces of bacon (choice of sausage also). I got my son an order of French toast, and a friend the brunch burger. Everything was AMAZING. The server mentioned Mondays they have a mimosa special (she told me exactly but I forget it). I like over medium eggs and this is the first place I’ve been that’s gotten my eggs PERFECT the first time around. It’s an adorable little café and there’s a wedding venue in the back. “A small, quaint spot in a food hall that packs a punch. The biscuit was easily the highlight of the “Traditional Breakfast”. It was flaky and soft like the ones your grandma made. I would frequent this spot if I needed to get a nice bite that didn’t require me to sit in a full blown restaurant.“

Liked the diner-style setting and vintage decor. Staffer who took our order was nice and made helpful recommendations. Interested to try their Chilis next time. There are a few parking spots in front of the restaurant; otherwise, I think people park in the street.“

I found out about this place because a coworker had his container sitting out and the whole place smelled like, "Yum!"I had to have some!Now when I order, everyone sniffs the air and demands to know what I'M eating. “A very unique, fun experience!
It has an outside dog-friendly patio dining area.
There were only two things on the menu the day we went, chicken flautas and chicken mole served with rice and beans, but both were amazing!
Be aware that they only take cash or Zelle.
There is an actual small animal farm onsite, where the kids can go into a pen and pet goats, chickens, and look at a couple of cows. The pens were muddy when we were there because of recent rains, and smelled pretty bad, but large fans on the patio kept the patio smelling fine.

“Reasonable choice for late night cravings as most options are closed after 10 in this area. The flavor of the pasta was okay but the shrimp was fresh. The wings were okay as well. The owner was very polite and had great service. The parking lot the food truck is in can be a little sketchy at night time so that’s something to be mindful of. I would return to try other dishes but the pasta and wing combo was just okay to me.“
